My daughter said she personally knows at least 20 kids that are going. Thats a huge percentage of the kids she knows, I would guess. That is really cool!

I have heard that a lot of buff fans in general will be there. I think it will be simliar to Georgia last year when the visitor section was a sea of gold with gold sprinkled throught the stadium. I wish we could always get a good following to road and bowl games.

makes sense. it's a doable roadie, still early in the semester and you could triangulate Vegas into the trip.

I think there will be way more buff fans in Tempe than in Athens. At least twice as many. There a decent alumni base in the Phoenix metro area and the flights down there are cheap, and it's just a day drive. I wish I was making this trip.:sad1:

I know kids that are so pumped they actually thought the game was last saturday and started to make the drive accordingly. As to what they were smoking, I will get details.

If you bought plane tickets early enough, you could have gotten a round trip ticket for around $100 through southwest. That sounds awesome though.

I just checked Southwest again and you can get a ticket for 9:50 in the morning returning Sunday in the morning for $190.

I agree. Whenever the Broncos play the Cardinals the stands are full of Bronco fans. I would assume a lot of them also follow the Buffs and are already planning to go.

Give'em hell!!! GO BUFFS...

BTW...I was in the airport this morning heading to Florida for vacation and Mike Bohn was in the security line behind us and is he ever pumped. Add this to the picture - about 5 people in front of him was Ward Churchill. Think Ward was going to Phoenix for the game? :smile2: (Disclaimer - it was obvious that they were not together so I don't want any vicious rumors flying around)
