SWAT Training Day for Buffs (Allsome!)

A number of players end up using their degrees to go into law enforcement, criminal justice or legal. Not only is it pretty cool, a good bonding experience, and good for community relations, it will be a good thing for some of their careers.

Even more so if the PD ends up offering some of these guys a job.

Does anyone know if a Fmr Buff FB player has ever served on the BPD?

Tupou looks big!
No wonder they had him do it. He's already proficient in knocking down fences and roughing fools up.

Would you argue with him if he told you to put your hands on the car? Even most drunk guys would recognize that arguing with him wouldn't be a good idea.

Good program for the players and the cops. Never hurts to humanize somebody and get past the stereotypes. A lot of the players even if they haven't been in trouble come from backgrounds where the police were looked at as the enemy. The cops job includes taking control of a situation but that can be a nervous time when they are dealing with large, athletic people.

Cut out the distrust and you cut down the chances of something becoming something ugly.

What a great way to connect with these kids...I remember hearing DHagan (3) speak one time, and at that time, his dream was to become an FBI agent. Bet he thought this was COOL.
