Recent tour of Champions Center

I thought I would share some comments on a recent tour of the new champions center. I was on vacation in CO last week and reached out to some folks in the athletic department about possibility of getting a tour of the Champions center and Folsom. They were more than willing to make it happen. They told me just pick a time and day M-F. The facilities were awesome. We have so much to sell student athletes. I will include some pics of several places we went. We went field level, thru the practice field, weight room ( Phillip Lindsay was putting in some work), trophy room, quarterback meeting room, large auditorium, health center. These places are all amazing. The weights are all put back labels out and correct facing. The walls and photos everywhere are awesome. They spent some real time getting this right. They have an NFL wall with all the players at the next level. Just a great experience. I was told they will be doing tours on Friday afternoons starting very soon. They will not go all the places we saw, but will cover most of it. One of Rick Georges asst. gave us the tour and allowed pictures everywhere we went. Luckily not to much was going on when we were there, which allowed us to see all we wanted. Just a truly incredible facility. cannot wait to pick a game to make it to this fall. Coach Chev. Was out running stairs in the stadium. Here are a some photos . Sorry I don't post much, hope I put this in right area and not to many pics.

Looked like the little guy did too much partying the night before!

I love the legacy players on the wall in the meeting room (I am assuming its the same in all the meeting rooms). A very nice touch.

That facility, and specially the trophy room, is such an inspiration for man-cave interior design. I'd love having a room in my house done with flagstone accents, black and gold paint, video walls, buffalo & football art, and comfy oversize leather chairs.

Nice pix @cubuffs3
That young lady nailed the Heisman pose
