Jalen's dad played for UA, so ASU is pretty much no chance. Question here is whether he wants to follow in the footsteps or forge his own path. Oregon offer is pinned, so that looks like a strong possibility. Bernardi recruiting for CU with an assist from Chidera.

Harris hopes to visit CU for the BBQ. Bernardi on the lead. I'd guess UofA lean, legacy connection. He's got a younger brother, Jason, a 2020 prospect who's an incoming 6-6, 200-pound freshman.

“I’ve been talking to [CU assistant] coach [Gary] Bernardi for awhile now. They like my speed and I’d be the 3-4 outside linebacker. I’d be a really good fit in their scheme.”

Harris has Buffs in top six

He would fit so well in the McCartney/Gilbert role. Prototype for that position. Fingers crossed on this one.

Definitely a perfect fit in our system. You can tell he has the frame to carry some more weight. Dude will log some sacks under Jim Leavitt. Explosive.

Picked up an offer from Vanderbilt about an hour after he said he was visiting CU today. Hopefully he is having a great trip.

One of the recruits I'd be the most excited about landing, for sure.

Hopefully he still wants to take OVs, but damn. Kind of expected but still frustrating.

Dang. Looks like he is still going to take some OV's during the season, so I guess you never know.

Kind of happy he's going elsewhere. Not that I don't think he's a good player, but he's an outside linebacker, which we already have a lot of, and we're still in on some really good linebacker prospects whom I like more.

I must have missed the memo on us being able to pass on any quality LB prospects.

Quantity does not equal quality depth.
