i apologize if there is already a thread, I don't see one, so here goes. If there is, please feel free to merge.
What are your predictions for the Buffs?
Here's mine

Camp has started. I'm transitioning into Kool-Aid mode now.

10+

Guys on the team are talking about winning a Pac-12 Championship, so that's where my head is.

I'm not going to give a season prediction. I will go out on a limb and predict we beat both Arizona schools this year. We get ASU at home and we really should have beaten UA last year. That game STILL pisses me off.

You gotta make votes public so I can report all of the Rams fans who voted 5 or less. :)

Clearly you're not drinking enough at games.

If we only get 4 wins I'm gonna be pissed. If it's even looking like that's a possibility part way through the season, I might want to see Leavitt get a shot for the remainder.

I am firmly in the bowl game or bust camp. If MikeMac doesn't get to a bowl game, it's time to move on. This re-build has taken way too long. I'm glad recruiting is picking up, but I'm not pleased MikeMac took this long to figure out the importance of recruiting.

Buffs go 7-5 regular season and win their bowl game. They ride a stingy defense and quick strike offense to end the season 8-5. Vanderbilt has a job opening and Mmac decides to accept the job to be closer to family and takes Lundgren, Bernardi and Jeffcoat with him and we hire JMFL as coach and Chev as OC. Buff fans pop Pepsi's around the country. A man can dream can't he?

8-5. Go Buffs.

So what are the differences this year compared to the last couple of years? The words from Mac2 are pretty much the same. ("It really is.....I really believe that...")
And the actions/results have been pretty much the same. So what is the difference.....really?

56 upper classmen. And those recruiting classes were what?

Lots of "Starts" So What!

Sefo is back. He was back the last 2.7 years.

Leavitt is in his second year. Ya gotta like that a lot.

The "ownership" of the special teams is changed. And it is a good change.

Chiv is here? Yup that is a good one. But, Mac2 says the recruiting has picked up because he and Rick had a meeting 22 months ago where they increased the
recruiting staff and Chiv and Leavitt are beneficiaries of the new "system he put in". Nice grab!

Lingrening is still here and according to Mac2 he will be calling all the plays. Whoa! And if they really are only offensive tweaks? That would be disappointing. Certainly the play designs were lacking last year, but the calling of the plays at key situations was atrocious. If Chiv hasn't had major input to the play design and the play calling and the in game adjustments, then it won't matter how much the O has improved. Lindgrening is totally predictable and the pac d-coordinators have him figured out (see last year) and ate him alive..Lingrening can be the facade, but Chiv has to own it period. IMLTHO this is what will kill the Buffs this year.

And if that happens and the Buffs win 5 games. Mac2 will be here in 2017 but Lingrening will be gone. And Mac2 gets one more year.

5 and 7 (hoping for 6 and 6)

Anything below 5 wins and Leavitt (I hope) will be in charge.

Uh Oh Buffalo

Note: I been drinking so ignore, misspellings, grammar and anything else you like

Go Buffs.

Buffs win 8 this season and make a statement to the rest of the conference that we're back. Still a notch below the top talents, but the Buffs don't get blown out this year and we finally beat UCLA and ASU. Would love to beat USC, just don't see that happening this year.

5 wins, no excuses.

I think this team has potential, but I've become such a pessimist.

I love your optimism! If the Buffs are 3-3 heading into ASU a W and a 5-1 finish seems as believable as a 1-5 finish with a Loss setting the tone for the remainder of the reason. I would hate to see the pressure of needing to win the last three or something to hit bowl eligibility ( and possibly MM coaching for his job).

I expect 5 or 6. So I picked the 6-7 catagory to be optimistic for a bowl game.

We're gonna win at the Big House.

Mike Mac will jump up and down in front of Harbaugh, and Harbaugh will punch him. A brawl will ensue at midfield, and 4* and 5* recruits all over the nation will put CU at the top of their lists.

We end up 9-3, win a bowl game, and finish the season in the top 20.

We're back.

Also - Harbaugh will end up spending the night in the Ann Arbor clink, where he gets to know his cell mate Nails "real well".
