Just in time for fall camp and the start of the season AllBuffs is excited to welcome Justin Guerriero to the site as our new staff writer. Who is Justin? Glad you asked.

Justin Guerriero is a senior at the University of Colorado Boulder majoring in broadcast production with minors in communications and history. Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he fell in love with the Flatirons and Boulder shortly after beginning classes at CU in the summer of 2013. During the winter of 2014, Justin joined the CU Independent, the University of Colorado’s onlineonly, studentrun newspaper, as a sports writer. With close to two years of experience in covering the university’s football and basketball teams, Justin joins AllBuffs as a regular contributor for the upcoming seasons. He will report from press conferences, preview games and opponents, and analyze results in the attempt to provide Buffs fans with a window from which to look at the various daily happenings in the Colorado sports realm.

Welcome Justin. We will look forward to hearing from you. Good luck with this new venture.
And thanks to the Junta too for all the work you do to keep us well informed on the Buffs.

Welcome Justin. Tough crowd around here, but love for all things CU Buffs. Deliver Pulitzer Prize caliber work and you might get a Sacky invite - the ultimate AB reward

Welcome,

You will now be judged by a group of 35 year olds. Make sure you are informative and funny!!!!

Depending on your political leanings.

Unless of course, Sacky gate is actually a safe space.

This is a big deal for Allbuffs. Original, professional content is something we've always wanted to be able to have. We'll still be almost entirely an aggregator from around the web, but I think it's very cool to have some direct reporting while also being able to support young CU sports journalists in building their portfolios.

Thank you to @absinthe for getting this setup.
Thank you to @dio for making sure the funds were available.

Especially... thank you to the Allbuffs membership community for providing those funds with your annual 20 bucks.

Now, let's grow that membership because paying Guerriero is cutting a bit too deeply into the hookers & blow budget.

Will he have a press pass on the behalf of this website? If so, how do you navigate the CU restrictions that do not allow anonymous board posting by your membership?

This has all been done in an attempt to unmask Big Jim!

You forgot to say; "Welcome Justin, Nice to have you on board."

I hope this gig is a success for the new man and helps build his resume and earns him valuable experience. I am always glad to see hard working CU students get a leg up.

I have seen other CU focused sites add content and it always dulled the site. With press passes come rules of conformity. This site is a last bastion of non-conformity and the world is better for it.

Hopefully Justin can add value; real original content that is lacking today. Other than recruiting news there is not a site, CU's own or any other, that adds value above the others based on content. It is all just the same daily videos of MacIntyre after practice or stories about Liufau's foot or blah blah blah...the exact same story written by a bunch of different people.

So here is to Justin! May he seize this opportunity and run with the buffaloes! Be original, be creative, be bold, dare to fail, and be the first in Boulder to come up with something new! You've got nothing to lose so win young man, win.

Welcome Justin. Lots of samiches and beers need fetching if you are truly new to the site. Just cause your paid does not mean we do not get or samiches and beer!

Good luck and cannot wait to read your articles

Hello everyone. I just wanted to jump in and say hi to all of you. Thank you for the welcomes and words of encouragement. I will do my utmost best not to blow it! I truly am looking forward to regularly engaging with all of you about the stories I write and any/all things Buffs related...I'm a fan. You're a fan. As fans, it is our duty to talk about our Buffs until the end of time. So within a few hours, when I post my first piece from AllBuffs, I hope to begin those conversations right off the bat. I do vow to respond to feedback and answer questions to the best of my ability, but don't run me outta town if a few hours go by and I haven't responded. For the rest of the summer I'll be waiting tables at night so don't take it personally if I'm super quiet from like 5pm-10pm.

For those of you wanting my Twitter handle: @TheHungry_Hippo LINK
When I made my Twitter account in 2011, all the Justin Guerriero's were taken. There was a lot of pressure that day...I had to make a quick gut decision regarding my sure to be immortal Twitter handle. I've never looked back! Well...maybe a bit. Oh well.

Talk to you soon, Buffs nation!
