1) Lindsay

3) Bisharat

Probable Suspension
4) Gordon

Injured
5) Adkins

Transfered
6) Carr

What looked like a position with plenty of depth now looks like it could be too thin. The BDC reported today that Adkins has been out the entire camp so far with an injury. Gordon will undoubtedly be suspended for at least three games using Falo as a guideline. There are a handful of walk-on RBs on the roster that could well get some playing time. It looks like MacIntyre and Lindgren might have to consider moving away from their preferred platoon system and feed one or two guys more than they would like.

Adkins news isn't surprising. It's definitely something to watch but luckily we have some athletes to jump back if need be with Ross and julmisse.

Adkins to all of us who had his back this whole time smh :(:

Hopefully Bish is as good as we think he can be. Supposedly we may be running a decent amount of two back sets? If that's true, I suppose Frazier may be in there a decent amount?

As a 4th year junior, Adkins would need to contribute this year otherwise I don't think he's back next year. Medical retirement or graduation likely IMO.

Don't know if there has ever been a medical retirement from a twisted ankle lol.

Think he practiced for like a day or two last week. I'm alright with Evans as a 4th back, dude looks ripped and it seems he's continued to progress per Lindgren's praise. It's time Adkins hung it up, I ain't gonna bash the dude but his body clearly can't handle the sport.

I am a little worried we may have to rely on Sefo again in short yardage situations. Not that Adkins would have been taking those carries anyways.

Sefo was pretty successful in that department last year, but I am sure the staff will be careful here.

I'm curious as to who we would use in short yardage situations 18th everyone healthy. I'd like to just FB dive with Frazier. Some would think Bisharat, but Adam said he's not really built for short yardage yet. Lanky more than built and an upright runner.

I would love for them to give the ball to Frazier at the goal line. That dude is a Brandon Drumm with more athleticism. Adam saying Beau is a lanky guy right now who is an upright runner makes me think of another RB we had here a while back.....

I'm bummed to hear about Adkins. I was really pulling for him to put together a decent season.

Oh well. Bring on Bish and teach Lindsey how to go around a defender.

I was expecting Lee to be our leading rusher with Lindsay #2 unless Bisharat exploded onto the scene. Adkins will be effective when he is able to go and remains the wildcard.

Lindsay brings a lot of fight and leadership to the field that the others don't (or at least I haven't seen as much from the others). But even if not Lindsay, would like coaches to give an RB a chance to get into a little rhythm during a game, and stick with a primary RB.

I'm really excited to see a full season with Lee playing at running back. I think he is a natural at the position and definitely has the game breaking ability that none of the rest have. He also showed to be a tough runner who can break tackles and obviously good catching the ball out of the backfield.

He was listed at 5'7" and 195lbs his senior year. DL is 5'-9" and 180. That 15lbs makes a huge difference IMO.
Pretty sure the article linked above listed DL ya 5'8", 190#. Looking at the pic of Sefo giving him the ball, he just doesn't look that size...regardless, I look forward to watching his production match his heart this year.

I don't mind Lindsay punching some Pac-12 defenders in the face, and letting DLee run past them when they are a half step to slow to react.

DLee reminds me a bit of Lamont Warren, CUs starting RB the next three seasons after EB graduated and then left after his Junior year, giving way to Salaam. He was so silky smooth, but without the outright explosiveness of our previous running attack. I had no idea he was as good as he was until he was drafted and hung around the NFL for 8 years, proving to me that I underrated his game.
