So I figured I would throw this poll up just to get more "Blackout" info up on the front page.

oh yeah. spread the word! and someone call Hawk and tell him to get our boys in all black too...that would be sweet.

this game is huge, Tom...HUUUGE.

I just got notifications on it from Facebook, 6,500 people copied on the notification

they sent me 3 of them...this is what the message says...Don't forget to attend the CU Her'ds tailgate. This is supposed to be the biggest tailgate party in the history of CU...Tons of free gear and food, Dueling pianos from the reef, and my personal favorite CHEERLEADERS! Start time is 5:30 gameday. Be there, be loud, be proud! GO CU!

Location: Benson Earth Science (look for the 30 ft inflatable buffalo)

most importantly: WEAR BLACK!! and tell your friends....Your not cool if you don't wear black.

That CU Herd tailgate is located just north of where Sacky and I will be, just on the other side of Libby hall. Also, that CU tunnel thing will be at the same spot. This pregame is going to ****ing kick ass!!!!!!

I'll be in Black....for the game, but I'll be tailgating in my white #66 jersey.

I will be in black for the game, but we had gold t shirts made for this game, go figure. They are POUND IT AND LAUNCH IT shirts, i'm gonna tailgate in that.

I simply cannot believe how worked up everyone gets over what other people wear to the game. Jesus H. Christ in a chickenbasket! It makes ZERO difference in the game what color clothing you're wearing!

we get a bum wrap for not supporting the team as we should in CO and there are recruits visiting for this nationally televised game, this would actually be really cool. Affect the outcome of the game cool? probably not, get people talking about CU cool? maybe.

Exactly. How often is CU on national television these days? I fail to see how fans organizing this is something to get pissed about.

my gosh.....can't you see that this is an attempt to unify a fan base that has gotten nothing but flack in recent years....?

this may not be important to you....but it might be to young students trying to root on their school....this may be important to the fans at the game trying to do the same....and this may be important to young stud recruits trying to decide where they want to spend the next 3-5 years of their life....

if you're going to the game, wear whatever the hell you want to wear...if its black, cool...if you would like to be a bitter bitch, go against the grain...

if you're NOT going to the game...as usual...STFU.:sad2:

Agree, when the students (and the rest of the fans) get this excited over a game, for whatever reason, I think it's great --:gobuffs:
