Hey, I thought this Eberhart was a good kicker..

Other than the CSU game winner, he's been awful since then.. That 2nd kick tonight was just awful.. Reminded me of Brougham or whatever his name was from 2002.. :wow:

I watched him on the sideline and he took it really hard. I feel bad for him. He just has to put it behind him. He is a good kicker. He's just slumping. He can either forget it or he can let it bother him the rest of the year and suck. we'll see.

Kicking very emotional - a total head game; need to support him - he will be needed again; don't forget some bad kicks are the result of bad holds/snaps and sometimes it is hard to see how the hold goes on TV. No excuses but have lived a little in the world of the kicker - unlike the other positions you can't go out on the next series and take out your frustrations - you have to deal with it totally between your ears

he missed the one in the csu game too. would have made a big difference. no need to go for two in the third quarter and no overtime.

this is exactly what it was like in 2002. remember the alamo bowl? at the very end they only needed a twenty-some yarder to win the game and he choked. mason crosby was a freak at this school. welcome back to the CU kicking game that we have enjoyed for the decade before mason

what year was that when CU lost to the fuskers on a missed field goal? i remember the kicker's mother writing letters to the newspaper asking the other students to let him go back to class.

That was 1999..."wide right" Jermey Aldrich.

Still NOT convinced that Aldrich was wide right and I've seen that play about a hundred times! Stupid jerk-off Fuskers used to get all the calls, now they've re-joined the pack!

On Eberhart, when recruited it was a toss-up between him and Crosby, so its not that he's talentless, just inexperienced. He over-adjusted on his second attempt to compensate for missing the first!

Next year we can look forward to a battle t between Goodman and Cope.
