ill get ripped, but, wipe out the score and go to when Sefo was in. We were toe to toe, not out-athleted. Sure, throw a RS FROSH QB who can't move the ball in and it gets inflated.
Guys, we have been one of the worst programs in the country the last decade. We're not deep, our special teams need serious help, but we can compete.
We're a bowl team and will recruit the depth.
The rise is real. **** your negative responses.

Realistic

We aren't good yet but at least we look like a P5 football team.

Huge step up from 3-4 years ago and the prior decade plus

Well.. we led when Sefo went down. Montez totally overwhelmed. The three special teams TDs for Mich killed us. Two, plus a super short field on the 2nd blocked punt anyway. Without Sefo we're dead.

The moral victories made sense 2 seasons ago... when they appeared against last season, it became sad... now it's gotten to the point where it's just hilarious. Thank you sir, we all could use a little more laughter in our lives. Outscored 38-7 over the last 3 quarters #theriseisreal

Question is whether Michigan is a great team. If so, then CU is a very good team (with Sefo).

If they're only pretty good, we may not be as good as I thought. And less than that without Sefo.

This Oregon game is huge.

I have been struggling with this question since the fourth quarter. On one hand I would like to believe our buffs hung tough with a top-five team. On the other hand I am not sure Michigan is top 5 good. What sucks is that we probably won't know until the Ohio State game.

Michigan State and tOSU are going to KILL Michigan. And possibly Wisconsin too. I look at Michigan as being in the same position as Alabama was under Saban when he first got there and we played them (Hawk Era) in that Weed Whacker Bowl. Big 10 East will be the new SEC West in 2 years. It's very unlikely that we hang with Oregon.

I'll give you that OSU may kill Michigan but no chance Michigan State nor Wisconsin kill Michigan. Have you watched either of those teams yet this season? Wisconsin barely won today. The win over LSU isn't that good. Preseason rankings aren't very good and LSU is severely lacking anything outside Fournette.

This Michigan team is very raw, and that QB is absolutely terrible.

I won't argue that at all. I was cursing Speight most of the day. But the only team that will make us pay for our slow pace offense is OSU. Also I don't believe Michigan should be top 5, because like I said I don't like preseason rankings.

With that said Colorado looked good today and you guys will do well if your QB comes back. That dude is a football player and the play he made after getting injured was amazing.

Without Sefo, we're toast. Montez was oh for seven. He looked lost. Therefore the play calling was abysmal. Coaches don't believe in Montez.

Dude had a pass to the endzone that should have been caught.

Had Frazier caught that it may have helped his confidence.

But to me he seems more accurate on long passes vs intermediate throws.

No blame for Montez. That D was just coming aftr him, we had no run game. Love Lindsy but we need some size

That stupid TE drag play was the only thing working against our D
That and any runs off the edge in the second half. Also a good number of runs up the middle of the first half. Their RB got something like 84 yards on his first 8 carries.

we lost the field positiin battle and the blocked punt, then when he punted into the LOS, that was tue nail

You have a very heavy senior starting lineup from what I could tell. Is the rise sustainable?
It is the most experienced team we've ever fielded. We will lose a ton of talent next year and we may be worse next year, but in the longer run I think the rise is sustainable as we will be getting a top 30 class in 2017.

I saw a bunch of roll out punts that line drove to the punt returner for big returns. I actually missed the two early punts. I understand one was blocked, one hit the linemen.

Then....near the end a traditional style punt that went high and was fair caught.
Why not do that all the time?

Good observation. Looks like we'll return 8 starters on offense next season and around 4 on defense. Probably take a bit for the defense to gel and the offense should be loaded but we don't know if we'll have a QB to captain the ship.

Due to a suspension and an injury, though, we were actually missing our best OLB and our best WR. Both of them will be back as juniors next season.

P.S. We also look like we'll have a Top 25 or so recruiting class coming in. A lot depends on whether it lives up to its billing.

We'll go as far as Sefo takes us. Worst possible outcome today was an injury to him. Hope it's just a knick
