Props to Graham

He did okay for his first game in a hostile environment. The blocked PAT could have been disastrous, got to get those up faster.

It was Price on kickoffs. He got great height & hang time on them, so even the ones that didn't result in touchbacks ended up being great kicks.

Graham had the one issue on the XP not getting the ball up high enough, fast enough, but otherwise was nails.

Kickers definitely stepped up.

And how about Kinney's punting & his protection? 3 punts for a 40.3 yard average, got them off fast, and zero return yards off these.

Only real snafu on special teams was the fake punt they should have been ready for.

If our kickers can just be solid, that's a start. Keep the mistakes to a minimum and we should be fine. We are gonna put up points obviously.

They appear to have abandoned the rugby kick. Good call.

Graham's kicks were all low line drives. He needs to get them up or he'll have more blocked.

Thank you captain obvious.

That was a big deal. I remember thinking that Oregon was getting dangerously (for them, anyway) close to quitting at that point in the game. CU was up 23-7 and Oregon was punting it away. Suddenly, they got 30 yards and then put it in for a touchdown. If Saturday had a different result, we could very well look at that play as the turning point.

Yep. They defend that properly (hell, no reason not to have the defense on the field in that spot since you're not getting a return) and the game is very different.

With JMac out and Oliver going back there for the first time all season, it's like they were so focused on the returner they forgot to actually consider down/distance/situation/opponent.

I said right before the snap " watch the fake". Mrs. sacky says "what are you talking about?" And I'm like "I said watch the f-Ing fake and that's just what they did!"
