I think we boat race these guys.

1-2. Gained less than 300 yards and 2.7 yards per carry against Boise St. Lost at Minnesota by a TD - just like CSU did. Beat Idaho State 37-7 where as we were up 49-0 at Halftime.

Buffs by 21.

Have to impress all the recruits on their visits this weekend. Have to keep the same mindset going into Michigan and Oregon. Should be a blowout but still can't over look this game.

The beavs played better in the second half in all 3 phases of the game, albeit at home.

The Buffs need to be ready. No let down!

This sort of analysis is like false idolatry. If you believe in this (and you are a player), you will be disappointed.

See UW escaping Tucson last night (barely). They probably had one eye on the Trees.

classic trap game. hope the boys stay focused!
Trap games are when you have a good, but beatable opponent. Not when the opponent is a dog (or a beaver).
Beavs played a "good 2nd half" because they were already down 41-7 to the Smurfs and the Smurfs were playing 2's & 3's.

Defense needs to step up and dominate after the last two games, I need top-form Awuzie in my life again.

This team will not fall into a trap. They are still seeking validation and really are on a mission. OSU goes down hard and quickly next week.

My expectation is that the buffs roll over OSU. As some have said, I am looking forward to this offense clicking at altitude. Still scared as hell that the dark clouds roll back in...eternal optimist in all things except CU Football.

Wtf really?

Can anyone break down OSU?

A bit overstated, but they are redshirting LT Harlow as he recovers from injury, their starting center retired after spring due to a narrow spine, a vet OL retired in the spring due to head injuries, and a tackle that would have at least provided some depth was diagnosed with cancer (his roommate and another OL had previously retired due to the cancer & later injuries he went through). http://www.espn.com/blog/pac12/post...s-and-tragedy-oregon-states-o-line-perseveres

on paper this should not be a hard fought victory.
However, OSU has proven to be gritty in the past and gave us a good game not long ago.

I feel badly for any team struggling who encounters major injury issues like they have.

That being said, I hope we steamroll them early and let our backups play the second half.
Rest our boys for USC.

I think CU grinds OSU down with heavy doses from the run game. That will keep the score down somewhat. It may not be the most exciting game of the year.

Yes. Went to a walk on. They are simply not good on offense. They don't have the players.
Oregon State never had the players; what Mike Riley did in Corvallis with MWC-level players was nothing short of a miracle. Gary Anderson looks to be much more average, but maybe he'll recruit better. It's going to be a lean few years for those guys, though.
