KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Colorado's soccer team jumped into the top 25 on Tuesday as the Buffaloes are ranked No. 23 in the latest National Soccer Coaches Association of America poll. It is CU's first appearance in the top 25 since Sept. 15, 2009 when the Buffs were also ranked 23rd. CU is one of five Pac-12 schools in this week's top 25.

The Buffs are going to find out how good they really are with their remaining schedule. Here are the RPI rankings:

Washington #84
@ Stanford #1
@ California #26
UCLA #9
USC #7
Utah #22

PS - the Buffs are #33 in RPI - not sure why that is so much different than the Top 25.

Go Buffs

We've had all of the major fall sports crack the top 25 this season. It would be outstanding if they all finish there.

One match at a time!

It would be fun if football, volleyball and soccer all finish in the top 25. Go Buffs!

Cross Country is a stone cold lock for both teams.

I'm feeling better about football than either Soccer or Volleyball right now. Soccer has a bitch of a schedule and VB seems to have lost its way in conference play.

Exactly - It's going to be very tough for soccer to maintain their ranking once they travel to northern California in a week (Cal & Stanford) and then return home to host UCLA and USC. This part of the schedule means that they must beat UDub and Utah to have s shot at the NCAA tourney as the other four matches are goig to be really tough.

As for volleyball, it does seem they have lost their passion.
