Any legacy buffs on here?

I know this is mostly a younger crowd on allbuffs, and most aren't legacy buffs, but there are a few umm shall I saw oldies, I wont say names:wink2:

Anyway, just wanted to see who was a legacy. My parents were honored as 30 year season ticket holders at the game Saturday. my grandparents would have been 50 year holders, but they cancelled their season tickets two years ago when we had that whole increase thing. They weren't happy.

By legacy, do you mean season ticket holders?

I am a 3rd generation CU alum/student/attendee.

Grandfather/Father/Me. Maybe I can convince my little one to attend CU, one of these days.

They just honored "legacy" buffs at the game last week. Whoever has had season tickets for 30, 40 and 50 years had a thing around their neck and were asked to stand at halftime.

My dad's a 40+ season ticket holder. He was back at the car having a beer last week when he was supposed to be honored.

I was a Western slope kid - so no season tickets - father went there; I went there; son is there now. Hope to talk son #2 in to CU but he has is interested in Cali - California gives me a rash. Will try to swing him toward CU as we are going to the CU - Neb game this year.

Technically, my father is a legacy. But he didn't get the honor thingy because for the first 7-8 years he had the tickets in his name, then for the last 25 or so years he's had them in a company name.

my dad has been a season ticket holder for about 38 or 39 years now. he gets six seats.

my oldest brother gets 4 seats, right next to my folks and he has been a ticket holder for probably about 13 years now give or take.

my brother is the only CU grad in the family and that was from the CU dental school.

i hope to someday join them! :gobuffs:
