I'm not 100% sure that CU is accepting 2018 commitments yet. Waiting for more info on this, but it may be a case of him telling Hagan & the coaches that he's committed but I'll need to take it down as something we can actually call a verbal at this point.

You being a dick aside, I feel like that tweet was pretty relevant to post, regardless of what Adam said. What recruit tweets out that, "...after talking with Coach Hagan, I have officially committed..." if his commitment wasn't being accepted? He name-dropped a coach on the staff, and said "officially". That's very strange.

The kind of recruit that is confused? IDK, seems strange to me as well, but Buffstampede is saying he's not an accepted commit for '18. The whole point of the statements above it were to try to suppress the tweeting, retweeting and posting on here to keep this kid's embarrassment to a minimum. So posting that tweet without reading what Adam had already stated (plus Buffnik and Kyle) was not very timely. I wasn't trying to be a dick.

The coaches didn't tweet out anything in response to his commitment, yet they've done it for every other CUin17 and CUin18 commit. They didn't retweet it either, which they've done for every other commitment.

Hence his Tweet being very strange, but still something of note, especially when Maurice Bell tweets at him saying, "Welcome to the family". I understand that his verbal was not accepted.

247 Sports has a profile (not linked in the OP) that says he's committed. I suspect that's just OBE, most of the stories there are last year.
