Practice Bubble

Anyone got a pic of the new practice bubble? If so, please post it. I'd love to see the new addition to our program!

Video still doesn't show it all the way inflated or the inside. More coming hopefully.

The video reminded me of elementary school gym class when our teacher would get out a parachute and we would play games with it - like bouncing the ball on top w/o letting it drop while everyone shakes the 'chute or throwing it up and then bringing it down behind you so that it would form a big bubble and we'd all be on the inside.

That looks good to me; there are some of the top kids that will go somewhere else due to practicing in the snow and inside Bach Fieldhouse. Other programs offer more even beyond the bubble, but this is a good start for CU.

Now I did get irritated at RSWright in the BDC bitching about CU investing this money into the football program, complaining about the sports that have been cut and saying that football is not the answer,b ut I call BS. No other sport comes close to generating the revenue that CU football does, and without a competitive team, the revenue drops so poorly, that CU has not choice but to cut programs that generate no revenue (see tennis--the chollies far outweigh the income from the sport).

Would I like to see baseball and hockey back? hell yeah I would. But that will only be done if the CU football program goes up so much that the stadium sells out for most games and there is more TV revenue and bowl game revenue every year. Then it might happen. Maybe if the stadium sells out for a few years, then an expansion on the West side? More seats = more revenue (if filled). not a worry yet. Give Hawk time. Would love to see a athletic facility for all sports like OSU is putting in.:sad1:

IPF's are the newest part of college football's arm race. I mean Akron, yes Akron, has one of the nicest facilities.

Marshall lost their all-time winningest coach because they couldn't afford to pay for one.

Boise State built one when Hawk was here ........they were able to justify it by allowing to be used by other sports and for intramurals; its very nice

They should do laser light shows in it so the smoke can't escape. In this case, secondhand smoke = good!

FIxed it for ya.:smile2: (and don't deny that you inhaled--what else could explain the pink suit??)

BTW, everytinme I see your pic, the music to 'Dreamweaver' starts playing in my head---I guess that pic to me goes with that kind of music--or something like ELO.

When I lived in Vegas, my roomate had a band. The lead guitar guy went on to play with, don't shoot me, Air Suppy, Yes, and Vangelis. The keyboard guy played with, again, don't laugh, Tony Orlando and Billy Squire. The guitar guy, Jimi Haun (Jimi Haun), is really pretty accomplished. He's won a **** load of awards. He's a lefty and I think has a pretty cool lefty guitar collection. His daughter is an actress (Disney stuff) and singer.
