CUBuffs.com...

What do you think the athletic department could do to make CUBuffs.com better? Any certain features?

It just got a redesign in the last month or so, which was a huge improvement. I guess I don't have any real issues with it. I find it easy to navigate and very informative.

I do have one suggestion. I have found shopping the bookstore for CU gear to be quite difficult and the selections very limited when compared to going into the store itself.

agree...they need to list more items on the web site

They could link to College Corner and some other outlets that technically are not part of the university, but do move a lot of licensed product.

Pay per view BuffTV is a tease. Any way those videos can be made more accessible?

Not sure it's worth $10 to see highlights from the Baylor game.

100% of the bookstore $$ goes to CU

So what? If there are complimentary outlets that sell CU merchandise, the University stands to make money from those outlets as well. Plus I'd bet that T-Galaxy or College Corner moves a whole lot more product than the book store. It's not like the book store has every kind of CU thing that is sold. Give the people a choice!!!!

BTW - BuffThat - check your PM.

I agree.

I just think that the school would want the bookstore to be your first choice for CU products

I purchase in the following order

1. bookstore
2. college corner
3. t galaxy
4. colorado bookstore (last because they are owned by barnes and noble...always support the little guy first)

I try to buy all of my stuff from these four as they give a 20% discount to alumni assoc members:thumbsup:

The issue, not just at CU but other schools, is that the school "encourages" the athletic department to use the bookstore for their online store. The bookstore then still has to "get theirs" and the athletic department is in it to make money as well, therefore the pricing isn't really competitive. Also, the bookstore carries roughly half of the items that a national company like FootbalLFanatics can/will carry.

So having an official online store where items cost more and there's not a large quantity it two major strikes against the store. Consumers are smart, they're looking for the stuff they want and the lowest possible price.

It's definitely something that needs, and will, be reevaluated.

OK - I have a beef.

yesterday, I tried to purchase a "It's Division I Football" shirt. when I tried to register, it said I was already registered, so I tried to log in with all my known user names and passwords. None worked. I clicked the little button to have my password e-mailed to me (3 times) and have not received a thing.

Other than that, I find CUBuffs.com to be a great resource and user friendly.
