KSU v. CU someone quell my fears

I am getting addicted to winning... and seeing CU back in the national scene.... but this game... KSU lost at home, we have won 2 in a row.... can someone convince me we will NOT have a let down?

I have no pulse for this team cause I am so far away from Boulder... are they HUNGRY for every game?

eagles suck, broncos suck ... let´s face it, we both need the buffs to be successful if we want this football season salvaged

cause i am no longer in Boulder and cant drink the koolaid at the Sink, Rio, and Piccolos (2 for one happy hour).

I am resisting drinking the koolaid as well (but it's tough). No matter how well they've played, this is still a young team and I suspect there will be at least one game this year where the team just flat out screws up. My hope is that it's against TT and/or ISU. I figure TT will be a loss regardless and ISU will be a win regardless.

I don't know. I think maybe Hawk has "Rockie-ized" the team. They seem to take every game in their stride ... not get too high when they win or too low when they lose. They seem very business-like in their approach.

Or maybe they have just learned to say all the right things in the papers. I guess we'll see on Saturday. :cool:
 
i think the baylor game was the letdown game. CU played like **** and still won it easily.

ksu is very good and i don't think they will let CU make mistakes and win. but, i also don't think CU is going to just hand it to them either. i expect a very hard fought game.
 
I think the ksu game will be a lot like the asu game. CU will go up early and then make some mistakes to let the mildcats back in the game. There will be one difference however, this time CU will rebound and put the game away instead of letting it get away. They now know how to win.

I agree with others here. Baylor was not a great game and we found some things to correct. It will prove to be a good learning experience. Last week would have been the let down game and I think we passed that test pretty well.

I know Hawk will have the gameplan to win once again. The team will be up for the game and focused on doing the little things right and finish strong. I look for them to continue bulding there momentum.

The next transition will be handling the pressure of playing with a target on our back.

**** 'em up, **** 'em up, Go CU!

CU should do fine. Weather will be nice. KSU is reeling from the NCAA violation, the loss of their center, and a let down game against KU. The KSU fanboard gives the wildcats less respect than the CU fans.

If Cody has a hot hand, good things will come. It's when balls get dropped or the passes get tipped that would spell trouble. Between Charles, Ellis, Sumler & Lockridge, expect >150 yards rushing.

I don't know if KSU's 6-6 QB is near the athlete as Vince Young. With the hole at center on the KSU line, CU's defense ought to put some pressure, force some passes, and get some turnovers.

So long as KSU is good enough to keep CU's full attention, the Buffs will be fine.
 
Hawk's teaching the kids to be winners, not just win games.

CU smells blood in the water...purple blood.

I think Baylor was a let down game. They played pretty sloppy. They should be hungry they were 2-10 last year. The coaches are harping on winning their division.

That being said I think this could be one of the toughest games left on the schedule. KSU will also have reasons to play well. I expect a hard fought game.
 
Hurdle said something that applies here. He said, "We can't wear our victories like an anchor around our necks." That seems like something the Buffs are avoiding so far.
 
after watching the Baylor game..... I thought we did ok! I dont think it was a letdown...

I did watch the OU game again..... ****, we kicked their ass all over the field except 4 the damn 2 ints!
 
We are going to win because we are strong enough, and we are good enough, and darnit, we just deserve it!

Josh Freeman is nothing like Vince Young. He's not a scrambler, or much of a runner for that matter. He has negative rushing yards on the season. He's more like Jamarcus Russell than VY.
