Another upset? 20-17 with 6:09 to go and Rutgers with a first down at the USF 17.

Oh my goodness! 4th and 2 and they run a fake FG for a TD. And what an incredible pass! I just figured they were screwed. The receiver was covered like a glove and the passer was about to get nailed. Somehow, he threw it just over the hands of the defender and the guy caught it and scored. Wow. Nothing like playing a team with nothing to lose.

This game could turn out to be a great one if Rutgers wins. When they stormed the field last year after the game winning field goal against West Va I believe.....WOW!

It looks like he's gonna kill his players coming off the field.

When I read that he head butts his players and virtually knocks himself out doing it and that he modeled his program after kjsu, that told me all I needed to know about him and his program. It sounds like he gets a lot of kids in school that are questionable academically. I mean, thats the kjsu model, isn't it?

****ing Rutgers just blew the game. Crap! I don't want to see a piece of **** team like sfu have a shot at a national championship!

Man, the officials just totally ****ed Rutgers, I thought. That in know way looked like a hold. They better just run it and try to get off a good punt and use up the clock.

They did ???

:smile2:

Hey, I thought they did. I thought the fumble was deeper in Rutgers end. It looked like Rutgers' defense really had usf figured out in the last quarter. There is a ton of pressure on these top 5 or 6 teams this year. There has been a lot of throat swelling going on.

For once its nice to see a team not "coast" into the MNC game. It woud be really nice if there (for once) were no undefeated teams out there.

WTF was Grothe doing downing the ball after the snap on 2nd and 22? There was plenty of time left. Settle down and just run a play.. Frickin couldn't believe it.. You can't down the ball and make it 3rd and 22.. Stupid, Stupid, Stupid..

Also couldn't believe Rutgers didn't call a TO before the play clock ran out before they punted to USF.. WTF was Schiano thinking?

Its was like Dumb and Dumber coaching at the end of the game..

That's why they coach in the Big Least er Mountain East Conference.

Now can we stop talking as if that conference matters.

Didn't see it but a 5 yd penalty on a punt is not a big deal other than it causes a clock stopage until the ball is snaped. Schiano may have been saving his time outs in case he needed them.

It could have been a huge deal in last night's scenario where all USF had to do was get into field goal range. The penalty meant the punter was kicking from his own 5 instead of the 10 USF returner was lined up at the 50). And Rutgers had all 3 TOs with ~1:00 left, so I doubt they were gonna need them for anything.

Turned out to not be a big deal because Rutgers got a huge sack on 1st down and then USF spiked the ball on 2nd down, leaving themselves with only two downs to get 22 yards for a 1st down.

Ahhhhhhhh. Thanks. I know you dont like to typ a lot so Rep.

I was also glad to see USF go down because they simply weren't deserving of playing for the MNC, which would've been very likely had they won last night. They're a fine team, just not nearly deserving of playing for the title.

I will say that the offensive pass int call against USF on the 4th and 22 was ticky tack.

No it wasn't. The guy pushed off. Clear and simple.
