4-4 CU @ 6-2 TT prediction thread

A few things bother me about this game.

1. I think Texas Tech will have revenge on their minds from last years game when CU detstroyed the Raiders. And I am just not confident enough in our team to match a team like the raides intensity on the road. If we let Harrel have the time that Reesing did, then he will light us up.

2. We all hate Texas Tech's gimmick offense, but the truth is they are a good home team with a 27-6 record at home since 2002.

I really want to think we win this, but I don't see it. Please prove me wrong buffs. Either way, I still support this team and I still see good things in the future.

Red Riders at home - D was sketchy against Baler; O still struggling

For some reason, I feel really good about this game. We always play Tech well and we should have won in Lubbock the last time we played there. A healthy dose of Hugh Charles to counteract the west Texas winds and CU pulls the upset by keeping Tech's offense off the field.

For all the random performances that the Buffs have turned in over the past season and a half, the one consistent from my point of view is that we've always done pretty well against spread offenses for whatever reason.

How Wheatley matches up with Crabtree is going to be the crux of this game, but I've got faith in T-Wheat.

I'm not concerned with T-Wheat on Crabtree, I'm concerned with the real pass protection, pressure on the QB. Reesing had all day for much of the game. Our secondary did an AMAZING job yesterday for what little pressure we put on Reesing.

Agreed. I think we win this game if do 2 things: 1) Eat up the clock by keeping it on the ground 2) Put pressure on the QB with our front 4. I'm confident enough in our 1-1 coverage that I think we should come out blitzing with more frequency than normal to get TTech out of their rhythm.

I'm also concerned that our D hasn't really turned the ball over as much as I'd like. We get 2-3 ints and don't turn it over ourselves and we do win, easily, even if the score suggest otherwise.

It's unfathomable that CU would have an O-5 record in the Texas Panhandle. No worries. Plus, I really don't want to plan a 2011 trip for the next try.

For some reason, we seem to match up well with Leach's Chuck n Duck offense. Buffs get back on the winning track in Lubbock.

Hey, it worked last year!
