Ok, I realize this is going to be a "one post" thread, but I love college football, and I'll watch just about anyone play...

Nevada up 20-10 at halftime. One of the Nevada QB's (#10) has a freakin gun for an arm.

Aggies take the lead! Oops...not so fast. Nevada answers. 27-24 Nevada. Should be a fun 4th quarter.

FSN Rocky Mtn, channel 645 if you have DirecTV

Thanks. I've got whatever the hotel has (in other words, not DirecTV). The only thing I made sure of before I left home this morning, was that the hotel has FSN, so I can see the CU game tomorrow night.

Two plays....TD, NM State. Talk about wide open! Dude was standing in the end zone, all by himself. Ags up 31-27.

That didn't last long. Nevada QB scrambles for a 35 yd TD (hope we don't see Chase Daniel doing that tomorrow). Nevada up 34-31.

The sad thing is that even if NMSU pulled it out, I would still hear nothing about it.

I don't even think people know what college football is around here. But then, I live in the middle of ****ing nowhere.

The TV crew has been working hard to avoid showing all the empty seats. Looks like a CSU game. What did they have last week, like 15,000? Pretty sad.

What sports are popular down there?

I don't much follow either UNM or NMSU, but either does my local newspaper. I think I get more about the Buffs than either of the New Mexico teams. The bigger city papers may do more than my paper though. But there is not a huge college football following in this state that I can tell. Too bad.

Farmington is pretty much split between Broncos and Cowboys. Otherwise, baseball is big because we have Connie Mack every year. My entire office thinks I am insane based on my Buff love though. It is kinda funny on my end to see them roll their eyes at me.

I think Abq. is split between Broncos and Cowboys as well. I think there may be a big Raider following as well. NMBuff could probably tell you more about Abq.

Funny thing, on the Bronco Bus to the Packer game on Monday, I sat next to a guy who came up from Abq.

44yd FG attempt.....it's NO GOOD. Not even close. Nevada wins.

Great game though. Very entertaining.

There are some Bronco fans, but a LOT of Cowboy fans. I'm from the Southern part of the State where the 'boys rule. Oh, I hate them and Jerry Jones.

People in NM may not like CFB that much, but college basketball owns the state. It's nuts. I get the best of both with NMSU (my alma mater) being a pretty good bball program--after years of being good then sucking hard--and CU as my football team. Yay!
