1997 NU 27-24, In Boulder in Tom Osborne's last season, Huskers take big early lead, but buffs rally falls just short in final minutes.

1998 NU 16-14, In Lincoln, A husker INT TD on buffs first series proves to be difference in game.

1999 NU 33-30 OT, In Boulder, Huskers take big lead, buffs rally back with chance to win last second game winning FG, buffs miss, goes to OT, huskers win.

2000 NU 34-32, In Lincoln. Buffs 2 point conversion in final minute puts them in the lead, then squib kicks and sets up huskers with great field position to kick game winning FG.

2001, CU 62-36, In Boulder, Buffs finally break through, Chris Brown rushes for record 6 TD's. Huskers and nation stunned as many records fall.

2002, CU 28-13, In Lincoln, Huskers again can't stop powerful Buff rushing attack led by Brian Callhoun and Brandon Drumm.

2003, NU 31-22, IN Boulder, Frank Solich's last regular season game as huskers coach, goes out with win over buffs.

2004, CU 26-20, in Liincoln, Buffs send huskers home for Holidays in Callahan's first year. Klatt and Mackey shine.

2005, NU 30-3, In Boulder. Buffs favored by 2 TD's, but huskers come in on a mission and dominate buffs.

2006, NU 37-14, In Lincoln, game a lot closer than score as buffs tied it late in the third at 14. Huskers need trick plays to break it open.

2007?? Should be another good one and hard to tell whats gonna happen. Both teams playing for a bowl bid.

One note, 4 of the last 5 years the road team has come out on top in this series.

1997: the final onside kick goes right through ben kelly's arms and goes out of bounds! :sad1:

1998: CU holds NU to 0 offensive TDs but still can't pull off the win....:sad1:

2000 and 2005 hurt the most, IMO

1996 game hurt the most for me..

The past 10 years has been a bunch of missed opportunites..

well, i started to go in 1992... that one really hurt. 94 was just as bad since we were favored and a Natl Championship was on the line.

94 was the worst ever, imho.

that Buff team was freaking great and they totally fell apart in that fusker game.

it cost us a national championship.

'94 & '96 hurt the worst for me. Literally & Figuratively. '95, they had a great team. Our '94 team was one of the best and IMO '96 should have been our year as well. We could have used Coach Mac in '96 as well.
