they are trying to decide how they are going to fit in all the 5 star super-recruit bluechips who secretly committed to play for the Buffs over the last few days.

well, it is as good an explanation as any. :wink2:

greetings!

I was listening today. I'm a big Hawk fan and really like listening to him. He's a very intriguing guy and he's got that certain something about him. He's not a bad-ass by any means but it's like you just feel drawn to the guy. When he speaks you listen. Joe Glenn has the same thing (by the way, Joe Glenn is my favorite candidate for the NU coaching position). The emergency staff meeting was more like a "impromptu staff meeting" as he called it. It was the standard weekly staff meeting, but something occurred with the schedule and it was a bit hectic and so it was nothing out of the ordinary.

Nothing to be worried about Buff fans.

I think Joe would be a great hire for you guys.

I guess I am partial to the ole option and always will be. My personal choice is Navy head football coach Paul Johnson. The guy has really turned the Navy program around and from what I have been reading on the guy, he has good values! Something the current dip **** doesn't have.

Knock it off why dont ya. Im really trying to hate you guys this week and then you and BRI keep posting somewhat sensible crap like this. At least it is only Monday. :)

If Paul Johnson came to NU he would not run the same offense he's currently running at Navy. Guaranteed.

That would scare the **** out of me. :wow: I am truly hoping for you to honor the extension.:smile2:

Powder River, Let 'er Buck. They already got Devaney and we know what happened afterwards. If they get ol' Joe, it could be history repeating itself. The guy has that same kind of charisma Coach Mac has. Scary to think of him in Lincoln, his home town, no less!

i'm friends with joe glenn's cousin....in fact i went to her wedding this july in omaha and met his dad....

my friend always said he would NEVER take the NU job as long as pedey was there....now that THAT is out of the way, you never never know.

he was my leading candidate for the CU job before Hawk....but i'm happy with Hawk so far.
