Who will be favored to win the north next year

Who will the writers, coaches, analysts pick to win the north. Theyll probably have Mizzou at one and either us or KU two. But honostly I think it should be us the north will probably be weaker next year and I dont see KSU making huge noise, NU will be transitioning, KU is KU (not good), ISU sucks. Mizzou is going to be the team but year 3 under hawk i think we'll have enough to knock them off and win the north.

I have a feeling that our late season meeting against Mizzou will decide the north, similar to the MU-KU game this year.

Loss of T-wheat and JD will definately hurt us but on the other hand, the D-line and LB depth will be improved. Offense should be humming along just fine, so there's nowhere to go up.

This is my guess on how the coaches will vote...The only problem for KU is they have Tex, OU and Tech. Missed them all this year...get it stuck in you the next two. Mizzou has the best schedule though...no OU. kNU will be the vogue pick because TO came down from the mountain with a tablet and it said, "Hire a guy whose defenses are famous for folding in big games."

Guess My View
1. Mizzou 1. Mizzou
2. Kansas 2. Colorado
3. kNU 3. KU
4. Colorado 4. kNU
5. Iowa State 5. Iowa State

Actually, I think Nebraska will be the hip pick to finish last in the north next year. Daniels and Reesing will be hyped to battle it out for the division, but that ain't gonna come to pass.

Next year Kansas will be playing Texas Tech, Texas, at Oklahoma, at Missouri, and will be on the road for Nebraska and Iowa State. All the cupcake non con foes in the world won't be able to save them from mediocrity or sub mediocrity next year.

I see it actually ending up 1. Mizzou, 2. Colorado, 3. Iowa State (no Oklahoma or Texas), 4. Kansas, 5. Fuskers

I also think there's a good chance the whole division ends up bowl eligible.

I just can't see ISU finishing over KU

I think no one really know's how we will do next year. If we keep Watson I really don't think our Offense will lose that much. If Bo brings in a new OC and say moves to a spread/option type of O, then I see us have a avg year at best. It basically all comes down to our Defense and if Bo can kick em in the ass!

Lots of kool-aid going on in this thread..

We'll be fortunate to win 7 games next year with our schedule..

Sure wish we could have played in the South this season.

why is that? other than KU and mizzwho no other team had a winning reocrd in the north (6-6 is a push). the Big XII South had 5 teams with a winning record, OU, Texas, TTech, A&M and Okie Lite.

Nothing to brag about considering their lame a$$ non con schedules.

well CU was 3-0 in against the south-
two of those on the road -

if the Buffs had been in the South they would have had
Texas, A&M and OSU remaining w/two of those in Folsom-
CU would probably win two out of those three-

I don't think there's any doubt that Mizzou will be favored to win the North next year and there's still not that many KU believers, for good reason. I think CU will be picked 3rd or maybe 4th at the lowest next year. There's no way that NU or ISU should be picked to finish higher than CU and even KSU shouldn't be, but I CU is still working on earning that national respect back.

I would expect the predictions to come out like this:
1. Mizzou
2. KU
3. CU
4. NU
5. KSU
6. ISU

Oh nothing - except our 3-0 record against the south - obviously the weakest part of our schedule this year.

If we get Scott, I think we stand a great chance at winning the north next year. He is that type of player that can come in and make a difference right away, like AP did for OU. Scott is a back that will make the game a whole lot easier for Cody.

It's a long way off. Weird stuff can happen, players can get DQ'ed, stuck in a drive thru window and coaches can still change places, but I see it like this:

1. MU

2. CU

3. NU

4. KU

5. KSU

6. ISU

At this point I would agree with that exact order, but I definitely don't think the published predictions will reflect that.

I'm not clicking on that link, Barnboy :smile2:, cuz I'm fairly certain that's the printer site. No way I'm looking at that crap.

As to the OP, I think the success of misery will all depend on whether or not Chase Daniel stays or jumps to the NFL.

I know, I know. It's the printer site, but it was too allsome a link not to post. We're talking delusion on the scale of aggy here. I read on Texags this morning that Mke Sherman should be able to out-coach Stoops and out-recruit Brown. I love the offseason!

Did we just excommunicate Kansas State?

I see it this way until someone proves me wrong!

Colorado
Mizzou
Kansas
Kansas State
Nebraska
Iowa State

Here's what I think:

1. Colorado
2-5. I don't care.
6. cornholers
