Orange Bowl

I hate when the announcer says "I think [insert qb name here] would like to have this ball back." after an interception.

NO **** !

I am not trying to be an a** hole, but what happened to Beamer's neck?

From wikipedia:

The Scar

In 1954, when Beamer was seven years old, he used a push broom to help keep a pile of burning trash in place. When the job was done he returned the broom to the garage, not knowing that its bristles were still smoldering. A spark ignited a can of nearby gasoline, that exploded in front of him. His 11-year old brother, Barnett, saved him by rolling him around on the ground, but Frank was left with burns on the right side of his neck, chest and his shoulders. Over the next few years he endured dozens of painful skin grafts and was left with permanent scarring.

Thanks.. That's a sad story.:sad1:

ZZ Top ??? :wow:

That is the best they could come up with ?

aerosmith was booked for a county fair so they decided to dust off ZZ instead of aerosmith.

i will say, it was better than the usual "hurray for everything" show that the orange bowl usually does. ZZ has some good tunes.

eh, all bowl games half time shows blow. what ya gonna do?

Yep, they should just do away with them. Prince was the best one I can think of from recent memory.

Fixed. I heard Nickelback on the radio today. Seems like they have released the same single like 5 times and nobody even notices. :puke:

One of my favorite websites of all time:

http://www.thewebshi te.net/nickelback.htm

(edit: our bogus censoring app was blocking out part of the web address, so you'll have to delete the space between the i and t in "web****e"... see what I'm talking about?)

nice work from the mangina's rep-ing the big 12 a little better than Boob Stoops.

It's a good think his players weren't allowed to douse Mangino with ice cold gatorade, in all seriousness he could have died from that.

DAMN! I wanted to see coach Mangina get carried off the field by his players too!
