Big 12 acquitting ourselves nicely in Bowls this year

Only two losses by CU and A&M. Both were underdogs and the games could have very easily gone our way with a bounce here or a stopped 3rd down there.

I fully expect OU to kick the dog out of WVA, and a KU upset over Va Tech wouldn't completely shock me.

I always root for the conference in post season play - you will understand why when I tell you I follow Boise State and the WAC is not doing well at all. Thus your schedule is considered weak and even if you win you get no respect. Gotta play with the big boys to get an luv - ask Hawaii about that

For all the good Boise State did last year when they beat OU-- Hawaii may have just wiped it all out with their pathetic performance last night.

Hawaii didn't even look like a Div I-A school last night against Georgia.

no worse than arKansas did against an overrated Mizzou team....

I wouldn't say Missouri is overrated. They lost two times to OU and blew everybody else out of the water - including Kansas and Illinois, two BCS bowl teams. OU has the ability to defend the spread offense very effectively. They have a D-line that can create pressure without blitzing, allowing the other 7 guys on the field to cover all the other players. That's one of the reasons why I think they're gonna bitch-slap WVA.

I'll be very surprised if KU wins this game. Fortunately for KU, they didn't get matched up against USC because they would've just suffered a similar fate as Illinois.

You're probably right, but I think KU has a better chance than most people are willing to give them. I just hope they don't get all googly eyed playing in the Orange Bowl.

I guess I was wrong. Freaking OU. How do they beat the snot out of Missouri twice and lose to CU, Tech and then get blown away by a coachless WVA team?

Very weird.

it didn't look to me like wvu was coachless last night...i think he may have just upped his shot at taking over the program.

It was still a very distracting period for WVa. To come in that focused and that emotional surprised a lot of people. OU was the coachless team last night

WV is the first (or 2nd maybe, can't recall for sure) team out of about 8 with an interim coach to win a bowl game.

Yea I know : ( I agree

But then how did OU look last night - I just KU makes a good showing tonight

So let's see...

TT, OSU, Texas - solid wins
KU, Mizzou - outstanding wins
aTm, CU - Losses but solid games as underdogs
OU - :puke:

Yeah, I'd say that B12 was well represented this year.

Hey, I hit half of the prediction!!!

Way to go gayhawks. Now kindly slink back into oblivion where you belong.

5-3 record overall. Not bad at all. The Big 12, particularly the North, is back.
