Ladies of Lincoln beware:lol:

I have to admit, that's pretty funny. Who wouldn't want to party in New Orleans after winning the national championship?

Partying in Tribe gear is odd though don't you think? Seems like he should be in some LSU gear.

You ever been on Bourbon St? You walk out of there with more beer spilled on ya then you can consume! I bet he didn't want to get his LSU garb dirty. :smile2:

the good folks over at HP are already arguing the validity of the photo.

must be the off season....

Well, yeah.. some of them are arguing the validity of the pic.. but me? I am certain it's Pelini.. but the Cleveland connection does make me wonder.. is it a disguise? :smile2:

Oh man, that is just classic. It's going fun making fun of Lil Bo peep, I think even more so than Clownahan.

"Duuuhh... look at me I'm da Waterboy! Duuuuh"

I can think of a few times I've been to Bourbon St and probably looked just like that.

kind of hard to be invisible with a honker like that! :wow::wink2:

That explains his old style helmet at OSU with no face mask. Yuck yuck...

Meanwhile, he's going to out coach your Danny boy in all Huskers/Buffs games to come for the foreseeable future.

nah...he is at least standing...:smile2:

:smile2:

Heh - the last time I was in New Orleans, I had a film camera with me and was taking pictures all over the place. I got home and developed the film and found this great picture of these three really hot chicks at a bar. They were smiling, waiving to the camera, posing - nothing lude, but certianly having a good time. My wife sees the picture and says "who's this?" I'm like "I have absolutely no recollection of taking that picture."

I've often said that New Orleans makes Las Vegas look like a church service. I still believe that. New Orleans is a wonderful place.

Based on...

That's right. Little Bo Peep has no track record as a head coach and doesn't even have control over who's on his staff or who the university gives scholies to (TO does all that).

He might turn out to be a great head coach and an outstanding recruiter but you have nothing you can point to, yet, to demonstrate that.

We do now have evidence that he knows how to party, however.

Mr. Hawkins' track record as a head coach has yielded 8 -17 for Colorado.. perhaps demonstrating that "track record" is often an element not as influencial as one hopes for.

Pelini's head coaching for Nebraska has been demonstrated in one game, which he won in the Alamo Bowl several years ago. His record as DC at LSU speaks for itself, so we feel pretty good about the hire.

Of course we might have felt pretty good about hiring Peewee Herman after watching Bill Callahan and Kevin Cosgrove trash Nebraska's various good records over the past 5 years.

must suck for you then that mr. hawkins sent the huskers home for the holidays then.

huskers would get excited if tom-o hired a dead moose.

Re: Too sexy for Lincoln

There, fixed the thread title here, RuffBuff.

Can somebody fix it on the main page? :smile2:

I am sorry, but we have exceeded our quota of Husker trolls.

So many teams did that ("sent the Huskers home for the holidays") to Callahan/Cosgrove, that they lost their jobs.

Mr. Hawkins was in a lot of company in the 2007 season. :sad2: I'll bet several HCs from around the conference clicked martini glasses or beer bottles or whatever (wait, Colorado... bongs?) and took turns singing their school fight songs together. :smile2:

Any time our ski school beats the mighty football factory,it's reason to celebrate. His track record as a DC? What freaking logic is that? HEAD coach is what counts and last time I checked, hawk's record was better than 8-17.

I'm sure nebraska will be back, most of the top programs usually return but then again, things are much different now than they were in the mid 90's.

Brenaska of old is NEVER going to happen again. They have gone by the wayside with the Iowas and Minnesotas of the world. They used to be pretty good programs, Minn even won a couple of MNCs. kNu will only occasionally get as good as Mizzou does now,
which isnt bad but certainly not the Corncobbers of old, the
children of the corn or any other program that doesnt produce a
large amount of quality students in-state and has very little to
offer a student-athlete by way of location, academics, environment,
and overall appeal will have a tough time competing with the "big"
programs; CU not being one of them, but CU will be able to compete
more so than the bugeaters because it CAN recruit in CA, TX, CO, and
then nationally. The current playing field is vastly different than
when the old fart TO coached, parity has increased, and the
corntrash will NEVER be able to match that. They will live out the
rest of years in mediocrity and CU will have greater appeal and
success in the coming years and well into the future.
