After this season there is talk of the *ebraska gamebeing moved to the Saturday after thanksgiving instead of Friday.

What is your opinion on this? Fusker fans please weigh in on this too.

I say that friday. I'm still angry from the corn I ate and upset my stomach the day before. One way to cut loose (won't mention the other).

I really don't care, but I'd like to see it on the last game of the year one way or the other. The Friday after Thanksgiving means I usually have to work some magic in order to get that day off, but the folks around here know of my obsession with the Buffs, so they just kind of deal with it.

The Saturday after would be OK, but this year, we went on a vacation on that day, so that would have sucked.

If they keep it on Friday they need to move it to the afternoon permenantly. That 7 am tailgating after staying up late the night before is for the birds. Personally I'd like it to be on Saturday but it really doesn't matter to me.

I would like it to be on Friday like it is now. It's nice to have a guaranteed national TV game.

Yeah, this year really sucked. Thank god I was hammered within an hour of being there.:drink:

Ditto, I like where it is now. Day old Turkey Day leftovers and beer!

I'd like to keep it that weekend but whether it be friday or saturday doesn't matter to me.

I personally hate planning my vacation time around football games (Thanksgiving/Labor Day). When they added the "Mile Hi Showdown" over Labor day weekend, I was pissed. I was pissed when they moved the kNebraska game to the friday after Thanksgiving. I am a huge Buff fan, but vacation with my family is more important. For that matter, I think that every home game should start at 1 or 2 pm. I know they vary the times for television, but I think it sucks. Especially the games that start at 10 am.

Showing up at 7:00 to set up the tailgate this year was teh succ. There was snow on the ground, damnit. I don't know if next year's game in stincoln is a morning or afternoon deal. It's better in stincoln because of the time difference, though. 11:00 is better than 10:00 to start a football game.

If it were Saturday, that would allow a travel day between turkey and the game.
No way I'm showing up in Lincoln the day after Thanksgiving.

But Boulder games should be on Friday to help keep out the riff-raff.

You should send your personal schedule to Mike Bohn so he can try to accommodate your needs. Once both teams start being in the top 25 then the game won't be at 10am anymore.

as long as ABC rotates this game with the UT/A&M game we will be on at 10 mountain for two years and 1:30 mountain for two years.

Yet another reason I dislike the Texass teams so much. That 10am kick sucks and is one reason I wouldn't mind if the game was moved to Saturday instead.

The game has rotated for a while now. Really don't understand why you are blaming the Texas teams here.

Before it started rotating though, I think I remember it being "ours" until they started to whine. Maybe that's just my slant on things though...

Saturday after Thanksgiving is my choice-
I too have to get that day off from work. I usually have to work when it's
played in nu.

I kinda like telling the bosses and co-workers (ou and okie-lite fans) that I have to take off the Fri after turkey day, so I can watch CU-neb.

The Sat option is okay, I can live with that if the game were to moved.

I have no problem rotating it. But no more 10am kick-offs. I barely have enough time to get my BAC level above the needed limit.

No kidding. We were in the car heading up to tailgate at 5:30 am that morning.

I do not like the early morning kickoffs, but I am not sure CU is the position to be turning down guaranteed national TV games.

True, although there were 3 home games that kicked off at 11am or earlier this season. That's pushing it.

What they ought to do is move the stincoln game to 11:00 permanently and the Boulder game to 1:30 permanently. Boulder is the only B12 team in the Mountain time zone. So instead of the game being at 11:00, it's at 10:00. That's one hour, but it means a whole lot.
