There have been a few guys nationally who did it. Most famous was probably Charlie Ward who won the Heisman at FSU but ended up playing multiple years in the NBA.

Usually requires both coaches to be on board with it and normally since the scholly is coming out of football the football coaches require their sport to be the first priority.

We thinking OLB or DE? I’d guess too skinny to put right on the line but what do I know. Already have a couple other recruits at OLB so I’d imagine we’d lose one but still a Major upgrade nonetheless

Great question. I think DE eventually, but who knows.

Kid with this kind of talent you figure out the best way to use him. If he bulks up and can dominate at DE then great. If not you line him up on the edge and let him go after the passer from the OLB spot.

What is Von Miller in the NFL? Key is to use him in the way that makes the most positive impact for the defense. We haven't really had a guy who could consistently get after the QB since Jimmie Gilbert and Harris looks much more gifted than Jimmie was.
