Remember when Scott wouldn't get drafted if he chose CU? Because Texas is definitely the higher profile team? Numbers do suck when one is trying to make a stupid argument...

Let's see what those numbers say:
Number of Texas players chosen on the first day of the NFL Draft (rounds 1 and 2):

DRAFTED PLAYERS POS ROUND PK(OVR) TEAM
Limas Sweed WR 2 22(53) Pittsburgh

CU:
DRAFTED PLAYERS POS ROUND PK(OVR) TEAM
Jordon Dizon OLB 2 14(45) Detroit
Terrence Wheatley CB 2 31(62) New England

Wait? Let me piece this together... CU had a player chosen before Texas did? :confused:And more picks on the first day? :wow: And thats when we had another down year on top of a few horrible years? Now, to be honest, Texas did have more players drafted overall then CU did, but when you talk about profile, you have to admit that the first day of the draft is where the glory lies.

Stupid bitter horn fans.

You may want to check out the last, oh, 5 years and add that to your "analysis".

in the last 10 drafts there have been 28 Buffs drafted and 38 horns.

That sounds about right. Do you have breakouts from day 1 vs day 2? I'd bet that one is fairly skewed in UT's favor. They've had a LOT of first day picks recently.

3rd 6 to 3
4th 6 to 1
5th3 to 5
6th 3 to 6
7th 2 to 6

I'm going to reserve all Horn smack until we beat them on the football field.

Agree. Not just scoreboard, either. This Buff fan is still smarting from 70-3.
Hawk has the latitude to mess up a little here and there, but he MUST beat UT in Austin in 2009. Bonus points for a blowout.

Agreed. There's only so much you can dis a program that won a national title 3 seasons ago.

He said "can't read very well", not "can't read"....

C'mon. Some of them come on here just to make sure everyone knows about the stupid power of red, so I know some of them are semi-literate. It was bound to happen, you know, the whole 'If you had a thousand monkeys banging on a thousand typewriters, for a thousand years' type of thing.....
