Once again, Nebraska fans show how dumb they are. Classless Nebraska ruining it for the few remaining classy husker fans there are left on this planet. I actually find it funny how excited they get, dorks.

Oh BTW, did anybody notice how bad Nebraska fans have become since they started getting their asses kicked on a regular basis, oh on a chilly Friday after thanksgiving in 2001.

That was actually pretty cool. Good flame, they kept the fire contained with the rock wall, it started burning quickly, they didn't burn off all their hair. I have to say, I'm actually impressed.

Too bad we aren't rivals.
I'm going to change my avatar. Nebraska isn't worth it anymore. There are better programs in the North - I think MU is much more deserving to be our rival. Believe it or not I was paying for a round of golf in KC and the assistant pro was bitching to me about the 5th down CU win back in the Mac era. I told him the ref who blew the call is from Nebraska, although he lives in Missouri. I think MU is a better rival - it's generally a tough, hard fought game, and they do lead in the overall series.

Never! It will and should always be Nebraska!

Personally, I don't find it classless. Before I went to see Game Two of the Dbacks and Rox in the NLCS we burnt a Dbacks hat in the backyard. Before the Super Bowl we burnt a Bruschi jersey in the backyard (keep in mind, I live in Tucson) because we hated the Pats so much. The burnt remnants hang in our living room until this day.

Note: apparently it worked in both cases. The Dbags lost game two and the Pats lost to the Gmen.

Unless you're referencing the wierd KKK-cross set-up I'm not sure what the issue is. I'm sorry, I just don't find it offensive or classless.

In 1997, some Mizzu fans had a Nebraska dummy (no jokes needed:lol:) which was decked out like a football player, hanging from a noose which was attached to their apartment deck. I found it pretty damn cool.

Okay, I have a confession. I burned a CU ballcap last year in my backyard the Friday before the CSU game.

It was my favorite cap and I wore it all of the time, BUT, I'd purchased it at the Fiesta Bowl of the 2001 season (before the game) and frankly everything went to crap after that.

I credit my selfless and heroic actions for at least four of our football victories last season. I'll try to attach a photo of the event, but frankly I'm more handy with a box of matches than I am with a computer.

What a bunch of numbnuts. Did you hear the comments in the background? "Are you gettin' it?" followed by a "Yeah!". Niblet land is definitely the land of mental giants. (Corn fan, go look up sarcasm in your dictionary before responding).

What a couple of f-ing morons! I don't care what anyone says this is a rivalry plain and simple and I've been saying that for a few years now. We have a hate rivalry here and not a respect rivalry. Some NU fans need to get over saying that we aren't rivals and that OU will always be our rival when we don't even play them every season. CU is our prime rival with MU and KSUcks in a tie for second.

Man, with a goon like this leading the children of the corn.... I wouldnt worry about those douchebags.

The huskers remain convinced that Bo is the answer to their prayers. Even when he was at LSU, my red-wearing father-in-law talked about him constantly.

I often hear how he is the man to fix the flagging defense, but I would argue that you don't higher a head coach to fix defense. Instead, that expectation may be counterproductive. The head coach job is very different than a defensive coordinator's. A head coach should provide a guiding philosophy and vision while the coordinators execute the nuts and bolts to support that vision. Now, I agree that if Bo's vision includes a return to a strong defense, than decisions will back that focus and through time the husker blackshirts will shed their pink velour track-suits and return to their tradition of smashmouth football. However, that's very different than using a head coach to "fix" a defense.

I suspect that, temper aside, Bo is a quality human being (without knowing him personally). But it's also my belief that if he focuses on his DC's job, the entire team will suffer. At the end of the day, he remains unproven as a head coach and I don't think he will be the "quick fix" many corn fans belive him to be. We'll see how it goes in the long run...

Like the American flag, the only proper way to retire any Buff garb should be a respectful conflagration while singing the CU Fight song (and perhaps shedding a tear). Well done sir, well done.
