Was in Charleston for work this past weekend. Group went out to eat Saturday night at Hyman's Seafood. They have a tradition where people use a sharpie to decorate a white plate, and then hang it on the wall. My eye caught a plate directly above our table that said "Colorado Buffs #1". Looking closer, it also had "Jeremy Bloom, #15" and a signature. Always good to see Buff stuff deep in the heart of SEC country!

Didn't get a chance to see much of Charleston, but did get a chance to play golf on Friday afternoon. Recommend The Golf Club at Westcott Plantation, just west of town. 27 holes and a good test of golf. Would have loved to play Kiawah Island, but that wasn't in the cards this trip.

If you go to a little town on Maui called Kihei, there's a sports bar on the main drag tucked away in the corner of a strip mall. In that sports bar, there is a shrine of sorts to the 1990 CU national champions, complete with a signed football from coach Mac. It blew me away when I saw it. :wow:

I stayed in Kihei when i was out there last fall, didn't hit the sports bar though

So, how did you manage to smuggle the plate out of the restaurant??

I think I played some pool in that bar...Lulu's? I never saw the CU stuff, though...

I don't remember the name of the bar, but that could be correct. The CU stuff is in a trophy case kind of set-up. If we hadn't sat right down next to it, I probably would have missed it myself.
