Any news on the kickoff luncheon?

My FIL and I went to the downtown one the day before the CSU game last year and had a good time. Got some NICE CU glasses too. In fact, due to a table at the back not being completely filled, ot the people there did not take the glasses, we got a few extra on the way out. Had a good time; should make this a Allbuffs thing. I know Sacky and FC go to the one up north if I remember right, anyone in for the downtown Denver gig this year?

The one on Boulder is always held the Thursday before the first game. That would put it on the 28th.

This will be the first kickoff luncheon in several years that I'll miss, unfortunately. Maybe I'll make the one in Denver instead.

So, the kickoff luncheon will be in Denver the same time the DNC is going on? No thank you.

The DNC wraps up on Thursday. The luncheon will probably be on Friday. I don't know if that's enough time to scrub the place down, though.

Hell, it's the DNC. They might not have enough time to scrub downtown Denver down for the 2009 Kickoff luncheon!!:smile2:
