Fox news just published their favorite collage mascot, and Ralphie finished second. My guess here is that since Uga the Bulldog passed away, the fans who voted must have felt sorry for Georgia. Otherwise Ralphie wins hands down!

The Fox studios are also surrounded by a mob accusing the Murdoch-owned news agency of racism (a term people often use when I suspect they actually mean "offensive"). In addition to demonstrating questionable sensitivity to the issue of race, they have proven themselves to be complete idots!

Clearly Ralphie is number one! C'mon!

Another ultra-liberal attack? Imagine that.

Actually the incidents that they cite were offensive. For instance, I don't think it's appropriate to call for a "lynching party" to "deal with" Michelle Obama. There were several other misguided quotes.

poor uga.

i flew with a capt who was a UGA grad last month. i saw him on the employee bus last week after i was done with my trip. i told him that i was sorry to hear about uga. he told me that he went to the funeral in charleston, sc (i think. i guess that is where the family is that breeds the dogs is). he lives in auburn, alabama and drove to go to the funeral.:wow:

Beautiful place.

the st paddies thing does amaze me though.

shoot, she could run over any other mascot in the country.
her and the LSU tiger should definitely have a deathmatch in lieu of our canceled/delayed series.

Note: i think we should def use Ralphie IV. That girl is one mean bitch!

Actually it's not weird. NE was not the only place where the Irish immigrated to. There was a large influx of Irish in the 1800s that came through Savannah and Charleston. Many towns in GA are named after Irish towns. My wife was born in Dublin, GA. In fact, there was an instance during the Civil War where there were two Irish units that faught on opposite sides. Both wanting to fight for their new countryland but agreeing with different sides of the coin.

They also taint the river green and throw a huge Mardi Gras like party with green beer and everything similar to Boston and Chicago.

Why the hell would the Irish settle in *ebraska?

you said "taint"... heh heh... heh heh

The only reason UGA won the best live mascot is because of the east coast bias...

My wife's best friend lives in Savannah (actually Skidaway Island). I don't care much for Savannah, either. Charleston, on th other hand, is awesome.

A dog beats an American bison as best mascot when stupidity runs rampant. George Bush won the US Presidency twice. QED

I'm guessing he meant the Northeast when he said "NE"

I liked Savannah alot and it was very pretty, although once you get out of the touristy area it gets dumpy in a hurry. I've also heard great things about Charleston but haven't been there.
