Nice to see Koata practicing and not leaving. Thanks for the post. I can't wait for the season to start.

they practice blocking punts w/out helmets?

interesting. is there a reason for this? seems counter-intuitive to me.

The idea is that you want to get your arms extended away from your body so that if you miss you don't rough the punter. What better incentive to not lead with your head (which the body follows) than to risk a face full of pigskin if you ****-up?

i can see that. i thought there was probably some reason....i just winced at the thought of catching one in the face, the actual cleated shoe would prolly be even worse.

Katoa looks like a beast...definitely doesn't look like most incoming freshman. Something tells me that him redshirting will work out better for Buffs in terms of gaining valuable practice time and experience while have 4 years of eligibility left.

Anywhere else we can get more pics of the newcomers? There's only Hansen, Katoa, Scott, Polk, and Mohler who btw looks ripped!

What REALLY makes Mohler a stud is how he does it all with just the one leg. In spite of that, he was still able to run - well I guess hop - well enough to get tabbed as the #1 outside linebacker in JC last year!!! :smile2:

Something about seeing D Scott running the ball, even if in practice, is making me feel all tingley.

I know. A whole year of wondering, the crazy last few months with UT in the mix, and now, he has the black and gold on with a ball in his hand. Good ****.

In case you looked at the pictures when this thread was started, they added more pictures from the afternoon practice to the gallery.
