I'm going down there. Anyone else? All the players should be out there. Practice starts at 4pm. FULL PADS!!!

I might be there with a little girl that refuses to take off her buffs cheerleading outfit

Just to clarify, Rip is talking about his daughter. (Just in case somebody who hasn't been around in a while mistakes this for one of the stories of Leash's dating woes... )

I think it's incredibly cute that she's so excited about the Duffaloes and her cheerleading outfit - I'm guessing it says a lot about how she feels about the #1 "Duffalo" fan in your household...

Great practice imo. Or maybe it was just because it took forever for football season to get here. :smile2: There was a scare early in the practice when George Hypo looked like he hurt his knee. He turned out fine but it put a scare into everyone there.... Rodney Stewart looked great. Boy that kid is elusive with the ball. ... Devin Head and Taj Kaynor got into a altercation during one on ones. Nothing major. Just alot of shoving.

The oline looks like a tight unit. They are really working hard out there. It also looks like Ryan Miller is becoming more vocal out there. He's really turning into a leader we need.

Deehan looked GREAT. He might see some serious PT.

And another thing, I know Darian Hagan landed Darrell Scott. He should be given credit for that. But he is not, I repeat, he is NOT the best recruiter we have. People are going a little bit too far with this whole arguement.

Hagan isn't our best recruiter, yet. He may turn into a great recruiter. But he isn't there yet. Some guy was arguing with Ringo today during practice. I was standing next to him. He was off in the "hagan is underpaid" rant. I agree that he deserves a raise. But he isn't the best recruiter on the staff.

Two years ago everyone was on Hagan's ass about how he isn't pulling his weight. Now everyone is saying he needs to be the highest paid asst. coach.

D is not the best yet....he might be soon. IMO Cabral is the best. The talent he has brought in is second to none.:smile2:

That's what i told the guy. I guess he forgot about Cabral.

Kiesau is another lights out recruiter. We wouldn't be watching Darrell Scott in a CU uniform if it wasn't for the TREMENDOUS job Eric did pulling Josh Smith to CU. Remember, Keisau was an asst. coach at Moorpark HS in '97. UCLA and U$C both made huge pushes late trying to swipe J-Fly from us.

I'm not trying to take anything away from coach Hagan. He also did a great job getting D Scott to CU.

I think Sporting News said Cabral was the best LB's coach in the nation. It's about time he started to get the respect he deserves.
Yes I agree...however with respect comes money, and CU has never really done that much for our coaches. I believe the assistants are still on a year to year contract. I don't believe they are paid very well, in respect to the rest of the BIG XII
For selfish reasons I would not mind keeping him out of the lime light

I agree. i can't argue about Cabral. He should be making alot of money.

Thank God he is a homer and loves CU or he might have been gone a long time ago. He has been doing this for years and I know that his name has been on many short lists for other jobs.
