Seriously what the **** is going on? really? I know having injuries is normal but damn Jason Espinoza out with a cracked collerbone, Mike Iltis ACL

it seems like every few days someone else is hurt, or academicly inelligble.

I wouldnt put Chapelle on this list, seeing as how he is still playing. If thats the case then Lockridge, Hudgins, Cunningham etc need to be included.

Too bad Mavia transfered. Put him in there as well.

Major was hurt in a contact drill. Hell, someone posted a story about a dude blowing an achiles tendon walking up the stairs. Sh*t happens.

Well Lockridge i think should be on the list , he isn't practicing right now becuase of the sports hernia? those can be a bitch I could see him missing the game in 2 weeks.

Don't forget Iltis' blown ACL as well.

EDIT: Nevermind, you got it up above.

Ucla players shouldn't qualify for our injury/out list, he left last year.

read it again. "too bad he transfered". In my mind a starter that transfers is a casualty. Particularly one that was on course to be supplanted by other players that are bigger and did not get pushed around by Bama.

Tell it like it is, brother!! Anyone who thinks that he was going to start 4 years with the likes of MTM and Givens coming in needs to put the bong down. He was as big as his frame would carry, and that was not big enough for B12 play. The coaches saw that or they would not have tried to move him. Now with Tau and Faatiagi academic casualties, and Iltis hurt, we could have used him this year to start, but he was not going to start here four years without moving to another position, which is what the coaches tried to do. Regardless, he was failing in school, which means he did not get to practice much for spring practice either. And we know what usually happens to kids who start getting probolems with academics at CU. They usually don't have a full career on the field. I only hope Simas learns that being charming don't count for **** in college and gets his act together.

And since everyone likes to bring him up again and again, I for one think Hawk did the right thing. Let him use what he was great at, attitude and athleticism, to just punish defenders as a fullback. He would have been great as a fullback. It was like having another OL guy in the backfield, but if he lost a little weight, could roll out and HAMMER people in the run game as a blocker. I could see DS having the effect of 6 OL guys blocking for him in the run game.

He ****ed up his grades and made a bad decision IMO. Of course, this will get settled on the field. If he stays as a starter at UCLA and becomes an All American for three years, we can say Hawk screwed up. If he plays sporatically and does nothing, then Hawk was right. I still think he would have been a NFL calber FB though. Of course, that is simply an opinion, no better or worse than anyone elses here.

FB- he is going to play a ton at UCLA they are really thin on the lines.

These injuries don't worry me about conditioning. If they were pulled muscles and such, then I would be, but the injuries like torn ACL's and broken collarbones are part of any contact sport. THey just happen. Heres hoping to a full revovery for everybody.BTW, I don't think Major would have seen the field a whole lot this year anyway. Hope he's the same player after, sometimes ACL injuries can ruin careers.
