Greatest. Play. Ever.

Seriously. We see great tackles where the ball carrier gets owned and great blocks where guys get sent flying. But, I have NEVER seen where the ball carrier absolutely destroys the guy who is supposed to be hitting him, while carrying the ball, and scoring a touchdown all at once. Absolutely awesome!!:wow:

Gosh, why oh why didn't we use him more?!?! That was one nasty FB. The best of luck to him in the NFL. Man was a monster.

He's doing pretty good in Cleveland last i heard. I think he was the best FB in Madden 09.:smile2:

Yeah they do have him as the best FB, and his stiff arm is rated at 85. If the Madden people had seen this play it would be at 110.

Here's his full quote regarding the touchdown:
“We (Colorado) needed it. It got the team going and got the crowd amped. They (CSU) were taking touchdowns away from us, and I have to give props to (Brendan) Schaub for setting the block that allowed me to get in the end zone. Honestly, I wasn’t going to run him (Robert Herbert) over, but apparently he wanted to go. I don’t know why he did. It wasn’t smart on his part. Obviously he didn’t watch the film on me.”

“I pointed to myself before the play, trying to tell the coaches to get me the ball. I felt it. I’m the captain and it was my time to step up and set an example for the team. I was so amazed at the block that Schaub set, that I didn’t even realize the cornerback that was coming to tackle me. When I saw that, I decided it was time to introduce them to Colorado football."

Steve Foley would argue that.:wow:

And that guy from Florida State (Jones?) who threw some defender a fair distance...into another defender. Freakish.

That poster is funny. CU was formed in 1876. I guess CSU was our bitch for six years before we came into existence.
