How about Notre Dame

Drop csu and start playing some money making games. Start out by playing a home and home series with Notre Dame. We would get to put an ass whooping on NBC!

Actually, it would make sense. Notre Dame is interested in playing in NFL stadiums.

That's probably the only way they'd play CU in a home-and-home, is if the CU home game was played at Invesco. Syracuse and ND are reportedly talking about a 10-year deal, but all of SU's "home" games in the series would be played at Giants Stadium.

No effing way. I don't want to add any legitimacy to that program. I'd rather keep CSU.

id love that see Ralphie run in south bend. ****ing trample Rudy and the Leprechaun haha

I'm up for anything that puts the Buffs in the spotlight and an early game against ND would do that more than CSU does--unless CSU gets back to being one of those possible BCS spoilers like they had a shot at being for a couple of years.

:yeahthat:

For one we wouldn't pound them.... They've had some scary good recruiting classes under Weiss. Now he just has to coach them....

Two, I think any BCS school should refuse to play them until they join a conference.

Ehh, we would still pound them, they're Notre Lame. They always have good recruiting classes. After all Clausen is after his second Heisman and national title this year!

I think the potential publicity with a national television audience would be great exposure for our program. I am all for it.

while i am not against playing ND I am against replacing CSU with ND, if they get back to where they should be this could be a brutal game, the last thing we need to do is replace a potential cup-cake with a team that should be top 25 given all of their advantages.

ND will never play CU any time, no place, no time.

You can count on it. They have other opponents in recruit rich places to take on.
