Friday morning at a pep rally with CSU players, cheerleaders and coaches of other sports, Gartrell Johnson -- the team's leading rusher and scorer in 2007 -- encouraged the drunk college student stereotype.

"We just want to get your guys' support and just come out and get drunk, talk sh** at CU fans and watch us kick their a**. Go Rams,"

can you say "bulletin board" material ??
what a stupid ****....

I'm suprised they haven't said anything like this untill now. The lambs need to do something to get their fans to the game. Have they even sold out their allotment yet?

What do you expect him to say......Come out and watch us roll over and get our asses handed to us. Get really drunk so the loss doesn't fell as bad, I wish I could, but I will really be getting my ass kicked. Sorry inadvance for our ****ty team but by the end of the season ths will be just another loss with 9-10 others to go along with it. GO LAMS

dude, i plan on getting drunk. wait, i think i am drunk. i can type pretty good while being intoxicated.

No one, like me, thinks the game will be close like the last 6 years have been? This is CSU's super bowl, nothing to lose, while CU has a lot more to lose! CSU always plays outta their ass. Go Buffs.

:yeahthat:

I saw a friend tonight who is a HUGE rammie fan. Not one mention of the game all night. Generally, he is a notorious **** talker.

Rammie fans have little hope, the scary thing is they have nothing to lose. That is what worries me.

as you are aware (i saw you participating in their meltdown) the lammies are holding this as a classy statement, and it is pumping them up.

meanwhile they whine about the attitude of buff fans.

Had a CU player said that, the local media, and possibly grand standing state officials, would have crucified CU for it. Complete double standard! Instead the media treats it more as an "aw shucks, they are the underdogs, from the Saint Sonny school, they don't really mean anything by it."

The NCAA would have opened up an investigation and we would have heard the Katie Knida story over and over.

So, it's...

1. Get drunk
2. Talk **** at CU fans
3. Oh yeah, root for the lammie fb team...

Switch #1 and #2 and I think you've got the priority list of the average lamb fan...
