How do you troll for tickets at Folsom?

I checked into the 4 for $40 thing. But I only need a ticket for myself. So, I went on CUBuffs.com. Tickets range from $30 in the really bad seats on up to $85. So, I was thinking about just heading up there with some cash and seeing what I can get. I've never done that. How does that work? Do the camups cops look down on it? Can you get a good deal that way?

Im sure theyll let a senile old man go about his business with little hassle.
 
A lot of times the scalpers will work the parking lots and you can get a ticket that way. Otherwise, the corner of Folsom and Colorado is a popular spot for ticket scalpers.

The closer to kickoff (or even a minute or two afterwards) the cheaper the ticket will be.
 
I just scored free tickets via some promotion they were running.

Went to CUBuffs.com, went to order tix, entered Promotional Code BUFFCLUB, got 2 free tix in section 104, row 27.

I think the promotion is free for all - although it is good for only 2 tix per person.

If you walk around in the gold lot you may end up with a few beers and be able to find a ticket. I have sold a lot of singles in the past when my wife has decided not to attend at the last minute for whatever reason. I just tailgate and wait for someone walking by looking for a ticket.

Just a thought.

NOTE: Ronnie James Dio above has an even better idea...

Also hang around the Flatirons Club lot, I've had tickets given to me there. Just walk around holding up your finger (forefinger :smile2:) and you're bound to get people willing to deal on a single ticket.

It would probably be best not to be wearing the pink suit while trying this, though... :thumbsup:
 
Scalping is legal in Boulder and there are usually people within blocks of Folsom selling them. Just don't hold up your middle finger
 
Oh, and since the game won't be sold out, don't worry about where the tickets are. Pay $5 for nosebleeds 2 minutes after kickoff, then go in and find a better seat in GA. That is, if you don't mind standing the whole game with the students. That's my preferred area anyway.

Ya I needed one more ticket for 3 to go got the password off the ralphie report did it and got a seat. Is everyone sitting in section 104?
 
Negative - My buddy went on right after I did, and his seats were in 212 or something like that.
 
They must have run out of seats in that section. I did 'Best Available' and that is what I got.

BuffClub just hooked a bunch of folks up with free tix to the game :smile2:

Better than $30 for crumby seats somewhere.

Not sure about this. But I have heard from several scalpers that if you give you ask them the secret question, they can hook you up. I think the question is "Have you seen my hoodie?"

Man scalpers are never happy when they're yelling buying tickets and I point to the guy next to him who's selling tickets.

EWU must have returned a bunch of tickets at the last minute. Sweet deal for those that got them.
