I was at the game and Darrell Scott jumped over a guy and the crowd went nuts!!! Without paying that crazy 200 some dollar amount for buffs tv where do you think I will be able to see it and for those of you who also want to see it. Why would it be on ESPN if it wasnt televised.

Take another look at the BuffTV stuff again. The $200+ thing was for their deluxe subscription. The monthly is for $10 or so or annual for like $80. That gives the streaming video but not the DVDs if I am not mistaken.

You can look at a picture of it (or my avator):

That play showed his athleticism. He hurdled the guy and then what people don't mention is he then drug a Eagle about 5 yards before being tackled.
I turned to my dad and high fived him and said, "He is gonna be special!" My dad said, "I know!"

The guy can either go around you, through you or over you. I can't wait till he gets a good hole:wow:

Did you guys notice the play he had in the second half! he was in the secondary and he cut back on a dime and hit the hole? :wow: The game is already starting to slow down for young mr. Scott. That's scary.

The kid is amazing. Could we possibly block for him? Pretty please?

:iagree::yeahthat: A good start would be trying to run from under center... Like in the good ol' days when Hugh Charles wore #2.

Unreal, I felt like I was watching And1 basketball mix tapes on ESPN2...

Look at that guy just rap up a whole hunk of air!

...what people don't mention is he then drug a Eagle about 5 yards before being tackled...

It's not the most badass nickname but after that play he will be known in my mind forevermore as the YAC. I know yards after contact probably isn't a measured stat but I venture that that's something this kid could probably set records in if it were.

That was a thing of beauty. I cannot help but wonder what the kid could do with a lead blocking FB.

Here's what's being lost on that leap - he saw that the tackler was going for his legs and reacted immediately. Most RBs would not have the ability to make that adjustment so fast and would simply be tackled. A lot of tacklers are being told to take him low, because he'll run you over if you try to take him high. So this poor sap tries to do what his coaches undoubtedly told him to do, and Scott makes him look like a 3rd grade pop warner kid who's only playing because his dad is the coach.

The leap was nice...but it was the stiffarm that had me going most...especially the one in the second half where he basically threw the guy down and went for 5 more yards...IMO D-Scott was the best and most exciting player and bright spot from this game...he looked confident, skilled, and EVERY bit the hype...I've never seen a back have to fight off defenders in the backfield on every attempt and still pull off gains...he single handidly made plays that kept us alive...none more important than the 3rd & 13 screen pass he took for 15 by breaking about 4 tackles to get there! GREAT STUFF!!

BTW... you can see the link for free on the BuffTV highlights. I linked it in another thread. Let me know if anyone can't find it.

Oh, and he should be The Yak. Like the animal.

From wiki:

"Wild yaks (Tibetan: drong) can weigh up to 1,200 kg (2,400 lb) and have a head and body length of 3–3.4 meters.... Yaks physiology is well adapted to high altitudes, having larger lungs and heart than cattle found at lower altitudes, as well as greater capacity for transporting oxygen though their blood.[1]"

The 14th century Dalai Lama, Tenzin Gyatso, said of yaks, "And what a wonderful sight it is to see a great herd of them plunging head down in a wild gallop across the steppes. The earth shakes under their heels and a vast cloud of dust marks their passage."

His stiff arm is something else. And like Sacky was saying, his reaction is awesome. You can't teach that kind of stuff.
