chris wells out of tosu/usc game

Saw that. This game is over for tOSU. You just forced Boeckman:rofl2: or TF Pryor to win the game for you. Wells would not have been able to run for much against USC. His backups won't run for squat. The nuts' wideouts are not anywhere near good enough to beat SC's secondary and LBers. The only thing that may keep this game close for a little while is the D, but I think SC goes into half up 10+ and runs away with it in the second half. I saw vegas pulled this one off the big board the other day. Anyone know if they've opened it back up and if so, what at?

OSU's defense will keep them in the game for the first half, but that's about it. Without the true threat at RB I doubt OSU wins and they'll be punting all day against that USC defense.

It's going to be interesting to see how this shakes up as the season progresses. Even with an OSU loss it's still early enough on their schedule that they could make a mNC run. We are going to have to hope Wiscy or the Illini beat the Buckeyes.

You gotta figure, though, given the last two years that the voters are not going to be eager to put tOSU higher than any other 1 loss team, should it come down to that. If SC wins and then loses late in the season to UCLA, I would think that the majority of coaches and writers would still have USC ahead of them, especially if it's a blowout. I think that people are sick of OSU walking through an incredibly weak OOC schedule and then a very weak Big 10 and landing in the NC game.

I think the team with the best shot at beating them is going to be Penn St. Illinois may do it especially with Juice playing well and having them at home. Wisky's schedule is brutal when they play them. They have Fresno, Michigan, Ohio St., then Penn St. That's tough to get up that many weeks in a row. Everyone else in the Big 11 is going to be a cakewalk.

I honestly don't think OSU would of had a great chance with Wells in the game anyways. USC on paper just looks to solid. I love their MLB. He is a beast for sure!
