After watching FSU....

that D is scary fast. #99, whoever he is, comes off the ball like he has a rocket in his nether regions. End arounds and long developing plays are going to be hard to run against that D.

I would not be surprised to see Weatherford. Ponder and Richardson (?) apparently cannot read a zone. If those guys are in CU should run zone pretty much exclusively as you will get picks.

There's a tight end in there too.

Based on what I saw of and read about the WF game, I'm not sure a TE is going to make a difference to that squad. The QBs would have to be capable of throwing the ball to him.

7 turnovers! Why couldn't they have saved that performance for this week?

My money is on Weatherford coming back to start at QB. I think Jimbo is in love withthe athleticism of Richardson and Ponder, but neither one of those guys appear to be ready for prime time. But the knock on Weatherford was throwing into coverage, so who the heck knows?....

The problem with that is that Richardson and Ponder were the entire FSU rushing attack. I don't know much about FSU, so I have no clue what kind of a running threat Weatherford is.

About as much as Cody is in ours.

That FSU offense is in shambles.

Their best RB Ty Jones only had 2 carries in their first game and then got injured. I heard he'll be back when they play us though.

There is a reason that Weatherford is behind those two on the depth chart. From what I saw last year, he didn't look that good.

I understand, but after Sat. it is hard to imagine he's worse. I don't envy Jimbo that decision, he'll have angry 'nole fans either way.....
