1 win away

We are 1 win away from sweeping our OOC schedule. And the FSU game is looking very winnable. Now, people will say our competetion is not what they thought it would be at the start of the year (overatted WVU and FSU teams), you would have to be happy if we come out of this OOC schedule 4-0 regardless of how sloppy it was at times. Besides a few homers, very few gave the buffs a shot of sweeping the OOC schedule coming into this year.

COME ON BUFFS BAT THE NOLES!!!

totally glad to be a homer.

though i admitted one loss would be worst case.

it is a good thing - :gobuffs:

this is a really tough game.

on the road, in the humidity, against a team with more athletes and depth than we have, and they are getting like 4 stud-players back off of suspension...

i never say it can't happen. anyone can beat anyone! and, i think our Buffs will give them a game. i would definitely view it as a big upset if CU wins.

i'll be rooting like mad, just like you! it would be completely awesome to start 4-0.

based on what we've seen thus far, after this game, i would think CU has a really good chance to beat ku, isu, osu, atm, ksu, and the fuskers. the mizzery game and the texas games are huge challenges, but you never know...

GO BUFFS!

highs in the upper 80s. we are dodging a BIGTIME weather bullet - it could be FAR worse!

If CU can get out of Jacksonville with a win, I think every game on the remaining schedule is very winnable with the exception of mizzery. The Texas game at home, Buffs 4-0, night game= lights out longhorns.

It will not be a huge upset. CU is higher ranked than the noles in others recieving votes and power polls. Cu is a better team and hey will prove it Saturday. The heat and humidity are being blown way out of proportion, we have played in it before and done fine (georgia in '06 was hotter and more humid). The noles can't even sell this game out, 50,000 fans, it will not be that hostile. The Noles have a serious confidence issue right now too, I'm sorry but 7 turnovers by 3 qb's is rubbing off on that team. This buff team is expeting to go down there and win, and I think they will and it wont be a huge upset AT ALL.

heh! alrighty. i hope the team shares your mindset. all i can say is that i have seen that nole defense and it is will be the best defense we see all year. i just want a win. call it whatever you want!

"it's not the heat, it's the humidity!" :smile2:

seriously, tho, if that weather holds, it mitigates some of the weather advantage for them.

awesome.

i was thinking on the drive home that if the Buffs win this one, they could very possibly win 10 games this season. that would be some hella momentum going into next year with so many guys returning.

The Noles aren't a bad team, and their defense is good, but it is not the '85 bears. With our playmakers we could score 3-4 offenssive TD's against them. I don't think we will, but it wouldn't surprise me. I think we have some players on offense that can match their speed on defense. I just have a really good feeling about this game. We'll see.

And an advantageous schedule next year...

Can you say B12 champs?!!!!!!

No more booger after next year. OU will still be a force if we meet in the CCG. I think CU has a good chance at the north next year.

Ahem. Big George Hypolite says "**** you." Don't you know this senior has us in the mix for a mNC? You don't wanna contridict the Rabid Goldfish.

Screw over rated. The polls are set before we even play a game thus we play within the system. Unlike CSU who ****in whines and does not adapt, we take on all comers and higher rated on BS preseason rankings we just do what must be done!

FACT: any time the buffs win their OOC schedule it should turn some heads.

Make our conference look that much better and beat those pussies from Florida.
