Rumor has it

This is not good news, let's hope it's nothing more than a rumor. I know who it is but it's premium content for another site unfortunately. Someone else is gonna have to spill the beans

This wouldn't be a freshman with a history of knee injuries would it? those initials look awful popular on a couple sites right now.

*Caveat I am not a premium member anywhere, unless you count AB's donations.

I believe the rumor is re: MTM but I cannot get a confirmation on that. My sources are lame.

This sux for Max if true but maybe grimes can settle on a unit now.

that sucks. by game 5 or so, i was figuring him as a nasty frontline mauler. here's hoping it ain't true!

Colorado guard Maxwell Tuioti-Mariner is out for the season after suffering a torn ACL in Tuesday’s practice.

Tuioti-Mariner, a freshman from Corona, Calif., suffered the injury in a non-contact drill.

He became the fourth CU player to tear an ACL since training camp this summer.

No mention of which knee it was, I feel really bad for this kid those injuries are brutal and he just finished rehabbing one.

It wouldn't be good. But i don't think its devastating imo. Berhens has been doing well. Head should be back on track. At least i hope.

Worst comes to worst, we can plug in Keenan Sanders or Shawn Daniels. Possibly Matt Bahr.

We can't have another oline go down and we cant have a wr go down.

Good news: There is no loss in play for the most part (according to the grades the Olinemen were getting)

Bad news: Did MTM lose his RS? ****CKKKKKKK. Also now we are super thin.=(

Two blown acls medical redshirt or not that doesn't bode well for his collegiate future. I'm not so worried about the next couple of games but seeing how a lack of depth was devastating for us on the tail end of last year, I can see much of the same happening.

I'm looking on the brightside of this. He should get a Med RS. So we have him ready to go next year, and he's still a freshman with 3 games of experience. Our talent up front is going to be amazing in a couple years.

Valdez. He is done. As in done forever. I just don't think anyone who has had two major knee injuries in three years can ever be counted on. The odds are way against him. Way too bad. But all I care about is that the kid succeeds in life. Honestly. I hope he takes advantage of his ride and kicks ass in the classroom. As for football. I think he is pretty much done.

Man, that's alot of torn ACL's, but he had a history of being injury prone.

You don't know that. ACL injuries are always serious. But they aren't the career enders they once were.

look at a number of linemen in college and the pros, there are guys who have lost ACL's had doezens of surgeries etc. Hard ass guys play this position and MTM is young, he'll recover, perhaps not for next year but I am sure you'll see him contribute over the 4 years.

meant to quote DBT sorry.
