are in the same tier as Baylor and Iowa State. So there have been a lot of injuries--every team has those--QB rating is not even in same stratosphere as other B-12 teams. Special Teams are sub-par. These Buffs just don't measure up...I will be surprised if CU wins another game this season.

This game sucks, and we're all frustrated, but you are kidding right? No wins the rest of the year? I'll take action on that.

They might pick up a win or two but in the end will it really matter if they're 4-8 or 5-7? If winning isn't the objective what is? I don't think we're out of line as fans to expect better from the Buffs than what we've seen.

best case scenario is to bench cody....maybe ballenger wont have 6 passes batted down at los. nothing agains cody...he just doesn't have the physical attributes to be successful in B-12

Take off the black and gold glasses and please objectively tell me which team(s) on the remaining schedule this team can beat.

I admit, I do have black and gold glasses, but ok, here we go:

Kansas - they were down 20-0 to Iowa Freakin State. Kansas was a one trick pony last year. Will we be underdogs? Yes, but I don't see a reason why we can't beat them.

Kansas State - Their 3 wins? North Texas. Montana State. U La La. Don't see how that's better than our wins. Winnable game.

Missouri - winnable only if Mizzou loses their focus on the bus ride to the stadium.

Texas A&M - new coach and their team is in a full blown imposion. Lost to Arky State. Should have lost to Army. Getting blown out by Okie Light. Not sure how you can tell me we have no chance to win.

Iowa State - Really? We have NO chance to beat Iowa State? Come on. Is it a sure win. No. But you can't tell me we can't beat them.

Oklahoma State - Good team, but they don't generally play very well on the road.

Nebraska - Their D is exactly what our O needs. Can't see that as an unwinnable game either.

So, bottom line, I think only the Mizzou game is a pipe dream win.

I don't know who we are going to beat but we could beat anybody on our schedule except Missouri. They are going to kill us.

ISU and KSU will be able to score.

Will CU?

You keep that attitude. Turns out CSU is not that bad and WVU has won their last two. It almost seems a CU win would ruin your sad outlook for the season. I think you enjoy running to your computer with negative **** to say. So leave the cheering to the real fans a keep your sad outlook on the season spilling on to our computer screens. Nobody with a fuctioning brain is paying you any mind.

:finger::finger2: Go sober up, all is not lost. With fans like you who needs Huskers?

There's nothing negative in my attitude.

I predicted the Buffs would go 6-6 this year and given the current injury situation that looks like an optimistic appraisal.

I am not down on this team or this program. They just aren't that good.

I'm with you on the rest of the schedule, BUT I think we need Ballenger the rest of the season.

I say the only sure loss (and nothing is a sure loss) is Mizzou. I think Neb will be tough. But, I think 8-4 or 9-3 is very doable. Am I drunk? YES! Still though.

Haha. I envy you then man. 8-4 would be a stunning success. I need to drink whatever it is you're drinking. I'm drinking a Corona but it's my first of the night.

Take a few sips of the Big XII scoreboard from today. TAMU, Nebraska, Iowa State, Kansas, and Kansas State all looked no better than us.

Maybe I'm crazy, but the only tough games I think we have is NU and Mizzou left. Even though nothing is a gimme.

Really! Go back and watch the game. See how much penetration the Horns D was getting, and how much time Cody had to throw. Benching him for an even younger QB when we r 3n2 would equate to giving up on the season. Brillant call coach!

Kansas -Loss
K State -Loss
Mizzou- Blow Out
Tex A & M -Close loss
Iowa State -Loss
Oklahoma State - Blow Out
Nebraska -Loss

I wish it would be different but Hawk has won the gaqmes he will this season

Wrong!! I think Ballenger will be able to get those quick passes off better than Cody and more accurate with a faster pitch. AND if he does get pressure than he can certainly run better than COdy does, and harder to bring down at 230lbs!

No question that the line did not give Cody any time. Cody played bad last week. He didn't have much of a chance tonight. But maybe it makes sense to give another QB a few possessions? I'm not saying that we should bench Cody, but usually when a QB is as unproductive as Cody has been, regardless of the talent surrounding him, you start rotating QBs.

I look at the Bix XII scoreboard from the past few weeks and I see what Colorado's offense has done over the past four games (not much) and that concerns me.

If CU's offense can't generate more than 14 points when the game actually matters, it will be difficult to win games.

Whatever. Not sure what you see in K-State or Iowa State that makes you think that.

Dude, never invest money on wall street. Clearly you don't have the stomach for it.

Okay we were bad, but we aren't that awful..

Buffs will find a way to win 4 games in the Big 12 this year..

:yeahthat:

We didn't look it tonight but we are a team that will do exactly what you said. They got a lot of fight left in them and there are many games left to play.

See Jimmy, once you get used to drinking the cool aid it's not too bad...

One thing that's clear from this year, I think I've lost my title as the most irrational Buffs fan on Allbuffs..
