I know our defense is not great but this offense is horrible. We are so predictable and easy to defend. we don't ever try to stretch the field and end up the defense jamming up all of our underneath routes because they don't even worry about us throwing the ball long. Our running game has very little, all we run is outside and inside zone and very rarely a counter trey or G play. Then occasionally we throw in some shotgun read option and some load option. It is just like Watson grabs a play out of a bag and tries it. Nothing builds upon anything, we don't set anything up. After the 4 previous years, I think we have seen that we can't find the big time pro receivers to run this style of offense. All we have had the last five years is a underneath passing game and no running game. We will NEVER compete with a Pro style offense. What made Nebraska great is that we ran a different offense than most people and this was hard to prepare for since very few ran it. Yes, I know the common argument is football has changed and this offense won't work. People said that in the 80's and 90's and I think we have to say it worked pretty damn well. It is working pretty well for a first year coach at Georgia Tech who is adapting pro style offense players to his option attack. We will never compete with top tier programs with a pro-style attack, We have to be different we can't recruit the same type of kids of the USC's, LSU's, etc.

Pure hilarity from niblet fan lamenting the shortbus....

I was really, really hoping it'd take them longer than 5 games to figure it out.

Does Watson have around the clock security? He should look into it. The man just wins people's hearts and minds wherever he goes.

How many bubble screens has he run this year? How many 5-yard outs on 3rd and 8 has he called?
