We are ****ing 3-3, and have lost to the #1, 16 and a soon to be ranked FSU team. We killed our in-state rival and beat WVU in a huge nationally televised Thu night game. We have been hit hard with injuries and it is a fact that is why we are hurting. I'm sorry, but losing 5 starters on the line since Spring will hurt even the USC's, OU's and Florida's.

The only games we really have no shot in are Mizzou and Okie st although they will all be tough. We could easily go 2-4 the rest of the way and we can easily go 4-2 the rest of the way I think. I think the KSU game will tell us how the second half of the season will play. We beat them (and they are very beatable especially when they are on the road), and we win 2-3 more games this year. We lose to them and we win 1-2 more games this year. Anybody that thinks CU is supposed to be a Texas caliber team right now shoudl be shot, we are not that. I know most were opptimistic before the season, but in reality we are a young 6-7 win team even if we didn't get snakebit by injuries. We just aren't there yet and injuries are just making it worse. Be patient and be realistic people. CU is just not a great team, so deal with it!

I'm sick of the negativity and I'm sick of how much of a nice guy I have become. The "newbies" around here are about to see the old Unleash Hell come out in me. This is buff country and we support our buffs, we need to give Hawk time and I think this season another chance next year because of the injuries. **** the no excuse bull****, this is an excuse so ****ing deal with it. I ready baby, I'm fired up and I hate the people that think they can coach because they watch football. Have trust in Hawk!!

We may be a 6-7 win team, but that doesn't mean I'm going to be happy winning 6-7 games. As a fan I want to win every game we play and I will be pissed when we don't. "Unwinnable games" against Mizzery and Okie Lite? **** that, I want to win those and if we lose I will be pissed.

And if we do end up being a 6-7 win team (which might be tough to do this year), then I will hope that we at least competed and tried to win every game to the best of our ability, which includes making a switch, even if just to test it.

I agree with that. But do you bench a team leader, when everyone can see that the entire offense is the issue. I think it's a dangerous move to do that. Especially in the eyes of the upperclassman.

But there isn't anything else on the offense that we can change. So we either stay the same and continue to play poorly or try something different and either still play poorly or improve, either way we will have learned something.

I'm not saying you're wrong. I'm not sure about keeping Cody either. Something needs to be done, but I don't think a QB switch will solve anything. Neither will scrapping the offense. I'm not saying the spread is the answer to our problems, but to just toss out the offense halfway through the season wouldn't be a good thing.

So I guess we are stuck. We just need to hope and pray that it will start working. :gobuffs:

sometimes there is nothing to do but grit your teeth and slog the rest of the way through until the job is done.

Injuries happen, and yes, they can ruin seasons. See NE patriots.

I miss that guy. :smile2:

He is really taking over Rippin Lips right now. He wants out bad!!!
It started with the stupid ass Texass fan with the whistle and he saw something that he needed to be doing more. He is coming ohhhh fear the Unleash, he is right around the corner!:smile2:

AGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG:wow:

Haha except we are quite opposite of them. Everyone but our QB is injured.

HF is back, it's time for UH to be back. Perhaps MBB needs to come back.

Anybody want to go kill some cats with me? Pussy cats to be exact? I'm looking to go on Saturday in Boulder at Folsom field.

I love how people complaining about qb play, offense playing poorly, bad tackling results in "writing off the season".

You're right, our coaches shouldn't have to coach them up,just keep running the same plays and bang your effing head against the wall and then blame every loss here on out on the OL.

Grimes is the OL guru,TEACH,COACH do something different to get things going.DO something about it.

It would also help if the attitude for losing around here stopped like NOW.

The ho-hum"wins and losses aren't important, getting better is" attitude by our head coach seems to have spread and it's pathetic.

Getting used to losing and being ho-hum about it is lame and you can bet when mac's teams lost, the players and staff were pissed, not handing out "it's part of the deal" speeches.

Hawk has done an awesome job within the community, students and off fiels activities, awesome.Time to earn the extension and figure out a way to get the offense more success and win instead of blaming the OL.

We want CU to win,6 games left,I'll glady take 4-2,it can be done.
