Mizzou = TT of the B12 Norte?....

I went to tigerboard.com. Apparently, ESPiN is calling Mizzou the TT of the B12 North, all offense, no defense.

Thoughts?

No matter how well our D plays I think they'll outscore us. Our O is hurting right now and no matter how well our defense plays Mizzou should put up at least....27 points.

The all offense no defense part makes sense....but I think Mizzou is better than TT

We can have some success if we did what we did to TT last year....essentially grab a bunch of turnovers somehow

Everyone is off their bandwagon now. They will still hang 45-50 on us but our offense can't score more than 14 points on the worst defense in the big 12 so......

I think they have some good players on defense but to label them a TT is a bit of a stretch.

Wainaminnit. In 2007 CU marched into Lubbock and punched TT in the nose.

Calling Mizzou the TT of the North brings back memories of the game last season when CU pulled off an upset of TT in Lubbuck.

For that reason alone, the ESPiN description is either flawed, or gives Buffs fans a glimmer of hope.

Here's to Hawkens finally getting some production out of the offense to nab an otherwise elusive road win against a pass happy opponent from the North.

Just hope Cha'pelle is as successful against Daniels as T-Wheat was against Harrell.

i've been reading tigerboard (mostly for hoops) since about 2001....that's the second weirdest board on the net. those people make us look sane.

texags.com is #1.

netbuffs.com #3.

I think the TT at KU game is a very interesting matchup this week and should be TT's toughest test so far. We'll learn a whole helluva lot more about TT over the course of their next 4 games.

@KU
UT
OSU
@OU

:wow:

For CU to stand a chance they need the running game to eat up clock, and the D-line to create pressure.

Agree. The only way we'll even have a chance is to keep their O off the field as well as get a couple of fortunate TOs. If we can somehow run effectively with the read-option and open up a little bit of the pass game to keep them honest then we have a shot; with that said I still think we lose (and if by some miracle we win, I see MU imploding the rest of the season).

Their pass defense is Last in the big 12. Their run defense is better than ours. Hopefully we can exploit their weakness.

The TEs and Behrens need to be an integral part of the passing game this week. We need to get Hansen comfortable out there.

Maybe we should just get a cardboard cutout of Colt McCoy to distract Chase Daniel.....

an explanation for those interceptions v. UT? Chase Daniel the bun checker?:smile2:

aren't you even a little nervous? I mean its almost November a time when traditionally Mizzery fold like a cheap tent.

And the fold starts Saturday....I hope.

Well technically Mizzou began to fold two games ago. If CU were to win this game, The Buffs would simply be neatly creasing an already flattened canvas and placing it, with a couple of poles in the trunk of the car.

Good point. :thumbsup:

Didn't you get the memo, Mizzou changed things up and moved the event up to October and bent over for OSU and UT just to get it over with. All that suspense causes stress you know.:eiertritt:

Dude, this game is like a scrimmage for us. We are going to stomp you to regain our composure, than run over the rest of the North.
